We’ve been posting about Cardswap.ca for a couple of years now, and their site seems to have grown and grown; obviously this is great for us as consumers. Our author Avigayil is a big fan of the Cardswap service, and she has used it many times to both buy and sell gift cards. Here’s what Avigayil says:
“I have bought cards from Cardswap before, and always have been pleased with their service.”
Cardswap has recently re-vamped their system a little bit. Each time you purchase a gift card, you receive “SwapPoints” which can then be put towards future gift card purchases. The SwapPoints are worth varying amounts depending on which retailer and gift card value you are purchasing. For example, buy a $75 gift card for Chapters, and you receive 5.33% back in rewards.
The site is also great if you want to sell some unwanted gift cards. You tell Cardswap the gift card value, the name of the store, and they will email you an offer. You can choose to accept the offer and mail Cardswap the gift card for free. This takes away all the hassle of selling a gift card privately, worrying about shipping, who you’re selling to, or any buyer issues.

For this $150 gift voucher prize, you can choose a gift voucher from any of the major retailers on their site. Some examples would be Starbucks, Roots, Marks, Canadian Tire, and many more.
