Free Giveaway @ Toys R Us Roadshow Tour (Select Locations & Dates)

Throughout the months of July and August, the Roadshow Tour will be stopping at select Toys R Us stores in Canada with a free giveaway!

Toys R Us only launched this event on Facebook a couple of days ago, so it’s definitely on the short notice side and there really isn’t too much information about it.

No tickets are required to attend the event. There was one at Barrie, today on Sunday, July 5th, but looks like it’s too late now. All you need to do is show up between 11am and 1pm at these select locations at the following dates:

  • 8th July (Wednesday): Pickering
  • 9th July (Thursday): Sherway
  • 16th July (Thursday): Richmond Hill
  • 29th July (Wednesday): Newmarket
  • 30th July (Thursday): Winston Churchill
  • 6th August (Thursday): Markville
  • 7th August (Friday): Woodbridge
  • 12th August (Wednesday): Vaughan
  • 19th August (Wednesday): Kitchener
  • 20th August (Thursday): Dufferin Mall
  • 27th August (Thursday): Whitby

Also, keep in mind that only one giveaway is available per person.

It would seem that the Roadshow Tour is also centered around the following popular kids’ characters: Shopkins, The Zelfs, Trash Pack and Johny Test, which assumingly means that the freebies may have them as their theme!

There isn’t more information than this available for The Roadshow Event but my suggestion is that if you’re interested in attending, give the specific Toys R Us store a call to find out more and to double check that there will indeed be a giveaway on that date! I doubt you’d want to get your kid(s) all hyped up, only to show up and there be no Roadshow!

Limited Stock: 71% Off American Tourister Galiano 20″ Hard Side Luggage – Now Just $50 & Free Shipping! *HOT!* (EXPIRED)

Posted by on July 5, 2015 at 12:44 PM

Limited Stock: 71% Off American Tourister Galiano 20 Hard Side Luggage Now Just $50 & Free Shipping! *HOT!* (EXPIRED)Quick! Head over to Best Buy to grab the American Tourister Galiano 20″ hard side carry-on luggage in teal for just $49.99. It’s $120 off, which means it was originally priced as high as $169.99! Shipping is free as well as Best Buy ships orders over $25 for free.

Just to give you an idea of how awesome this deal is, check out the American Tourister Galiano 3-piece luggage set in the same colour. It’s currently priced as high as $569.99! Granted, if you only get the carry-on for $49.99, you would be missing the other pieces in the set but really, you just can’t go wrong at that price, especially for a hard side piece. Plus, maybe Best Buy will discount the other pieces shortly as well. I wouldn’t necessarily count on it but you never know!

The Galiano carry on is a 20″ hard side spinner suitcase that has a 41L capacity. It also features side and top carry handles, along with 360-degree spinner wheels for easy manoeuvring.

For me, the most important detail when choosing any kind of luggage is the weight. This carry-on weighs 3.1kg, which certainly isn’t too bad. It’s certainly better to go with a handbag of sorts if you don’t have much stock to carry, but if some of the things you need to bring are large and require more room, then a carry-on is the way to go and the Galiano’s weight is reasonable.

In the course that it took me to write up this post, the number of suitcases left at Best Buy dropped from 18 to 13. So, although this deal is set to expire in the third week of July, I suggest that you get it as soon as possible if you’re interested by it. The 71% discount is pretty phenomenal and one that you’re sure not to see any time soon again. The fact that it includes free shipping is also pretty cool as well as all you need to do is order and wait for it to arrive right at your door.

Shop.ca: $60 Off Diono Rainier Convertible Car Seat+Booster – On Sale $340 + EXTRA $75 Off With Exclusive Coupon Code & Free Shipping!

Posted by on July 4, 2015 at 12:00 PM

Shop.ca: $60 Off Diono Rainier Convertible Car Seat+Booster On Sale $340 + EXTRA $75 Off With Exclusive Coupon Code & Free Shipping!

Need a car seat? Here’s a great deal on the Dionier rainier convertible and booster car seat that I just took advantage of myself! Originally priced at $399.99, it’s now on sale for $339.99 and you can save an additional $75 by entering the Bargainmose exclusive Shop.ca coupon code MOOSE75OFF300JULY at checkout. Shipping is free as well!

A couple of days ago, I finally decided that enough was enough and that I would be getting a new car seat as my little one is over a year old and still riding around in her bucket seat. She fits within the weight restrictions but getting her in and out of it is a pain. Plus, the combination of her weight and that of the car seat makes it impossible to carry her from the car to the door or vice versa.

Since my baby is tall, I had a look around for the kind of convertible car seat that I could potentially get and after asking in a number of forums, I settled on getting either the Diono Radian RXT, which is currently priced at $379.99, or the aforementioned Diono Rainier. Both are awesome car seats and have high weight and height restrictions but ultimately, I settled on the Rainier because it’s currently on sale. Unlike the RXT, the Rainier also has reinforced sides, which means that it should, in theory, provide even more protection in case of the unspeakable.

A quick note about the price: the $75 credit is only applied after the order total has been calculated with the taxes. I found this part to be quite disappointing considering it doesn’t make much sense for taxes to be calculated before the applied credit but it’s just something to keep in mind:

Shop.ca: $60 Off Diono Rainier Convertible Car Seat+Booster On Sale $340 + EXTRA $75 Off With Exclusive Coupon Code & Free Shipping!

Even with the credit being applied afterwards, the price is still a fantastic one for this car seat, so don’t let it deter you if you’re tempted by this deal! Depending on the province you’re located in, the taxes will also vary. Mine were adjusted for Quebec.

You can get the Rainier car seat in either the limited edition white houndstooth colour or in either orchid (purple) or black houndstooth. In terms of features, you can sit a baby as young as 5lbs. You can rear-face up to 50lbs, forward-face from 22 to 65 lbs and then convert it to a booster seat up to 120lbs. The amazing part about this car seat is that, along with the Radian RXT, these are the only ones on the market that will allow you to rear-face for that long!

Taco Bell Printable Coupon: Quesarito Combo Meal For 2 – Just $9.99

Posted by on June 28, 2015 at 5:00 PM

Taco Bell Printable Coupon: Quesarito Combo Meal For 2 Just $9.99

Don’t feel like cooking tonight? Then here’s an awesome printable coupon for Taco Bell: print it out to get a Quesarito meal for 2 for just $9.99.

I have to say that I’m actually really surprised that with this printable coupon, you will get two combos for $9.99. I had to read the fine print a couple of times to make sure that I wasn’t reading what I wanted to read but yes indeed, you will get:

  • 2 beef Quesaritos
  • 2 regular fries
  • 2 regular drinks

A meal for 2 for essentially $10 is pretty awesome nowadays. I hardly ever get junk food for this reason but without any printable coupons, you can definitely expect to pay double that price for most meals, if not more!

Trying to find out what’s inside this quesarito proved slightly challenging. Judging by the picture above, I would have guessed that it’s filled with beer, cheese and fries but poking around online, I found a description at TacoBell.com that it’s filled with rice rather than the fries that I seem to see. The Canadian version of Taco Bell’s site hasn’t been updated yet with the new addition, but all it says in reference to it is: “a cheesy quesedilla, wrapped around a beefy burrito” with no mention of any fries or rice.

In any case, this is a minor detail that you can find out in-stores and anyways, do you really need anything other than beef and cheese? Taco Bell Printable Coupon: Quesarito Combo Meal For 2 Just $9.99

I’m particularly intrigued by the fact that it’s a beef burrito wrapped in a cheesy quesadilla. That sounds beyond delicious and I definitely can’t wait to give it a try!

As always, you can find this Taco Bell printable coupon on the Bargainmose forum. In case you didn’t know, you can also subscribe to get the latest coupons straight into your inbox.

Costco Canada: $120 Off iRobot Roomba 780 Vacuum Cleaning Robot – Now $479 & Free Shipping

Posted by on June 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM

Costco Canada: $120 Off iRobot Roomba 780 Vacuum Cleaning Robot Now $479 & Free Shipping

Is Sunday your cleaning day? It is mine! If you’re tired of vacuuming, then get the iRobot Romba 780 vacuum cleaning robot. It’s currently on sale for $478.99 at Costco, which is a $120 price reduction from its usual price of $598.99. Shipping is absolutely free as well.

Okay, so a cleaning robot like the iRobot Roomba wouldn’t necessarily eliminate the vacuuming chore altogether but it’s still a great way to try and keep the house clean in-between vacuums — or so I’ve heard.

The iRobot Roomba 780 features a 3-stage cleaning system with AeroVac Series 2, which is designed to pick up as much dirt and debris as possible. It’s even supposed to be great for pet hair but you would have to test that one out for yourself as we all know how plentiful it can be! With the Dirt Ditect Series 2, it also also acoustically sense where there’s dirt for what I can only assume is supposed to be a more in-depth cleaning.

On top of including 2 Virtual Wall Lighthouses, which you can use to control where the Roomba goes, it also comes with the following extra items:

  • extra set of brushes (side, bristle & beater)
  • 2 cleaning tools (round & flat)
  • 2 extra HEPA filters

Oddly, there are no reviews for this version of the Roomba on Costco’s site but I did find a number of positive reviews at Best Buy, where it’s currently priced at $649.99. Out of 12 customer reviews, it received a general rating of 4.3/5 stars with reviews like this funny one:

You should see this Roomba navigate it’s way around my place like a blind three-toed sloth. It went into a mess of cables and got stuck for like 45 seconds then escaped. I breathed a huge sigh of relief that it got out. Then it went right ahead and tried to go back over the same cables. At which point I’m thinking, “Hey robot,, you just got out of a snake pit of cables and now you want to dive right back in?” I’ve never had to help it though.

In fact, it’s $649.99 at Amazon.ca as well.

Cleaning products like vacuum robots can be a hit or miss but personally, I’m very tempted to give this one a try for the possibility off a reduced amount of dust bunnies and pet fur balls flying around in-between official vacuums.

Toys R Us Canada: $80 Off Baby Trend Expedition Jogger + EXTRA $10 Off Promo Code- Was $220 | Now $130 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on June 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM

Toys R Us Canada: $80 Off Baby Trend Expedition Jogger + EXTRA $10 Off Promo Code Was $220 | Now $130 (EXPIRED)

Summer is upon us and if you have been wanting to go on walks with your little one, then here’s a fabulous deal on a stroller: right now at Toys R Us, you can save $80 on the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger. Originally priced at $219.99, it’s now down to just $139.97. Plus, you can use the Toys R Us coupon code CineplexFeb to reduce it by an additional $10, down to $129.97.

I have a Graco Modes Click Connect stroller (by the way, it’s currently on sale for $349.97 instead of its usual price of $429.99) and while it’s awesome for running errands, it’s not the best for sportier purposes.

The Baby Trend Expedition Jogger, on the other hand, isn’t designed like your usual stroller. It has two large wheels in the back and one smaller wheel at the front for better manoeuvrability. With this stroller, you can easily run errands or even go for a jog with the baby.

The cool part about it is that it doesn’t compromise on other essential features. The baby’s set is padded, reclinable and can be adjusted into a couple of different positions. There is also an adjustable shade canopy and the safety harness is a five-point one.

Plus, it has a large basket and two cup holders! Personally for me, those two features are must-haves as I always have tons of bags to store and I don’t go anywhere without first grabbing a Tim’s coffee.

The reviews for this stroller are also amazing. Out of 11 reviews, it has 4.6 reviews with comments like this one:

I use this stroller everyday. Rain or shine. I use it on paved pathways, easy hiking trails, I take it to the dog park, snow drifts, gravel roads, pack it up and take it to the mall….. everything.

Here’s another review:

This stroller is wonderful. The bike wheels are great for any terrain from gravel to the mall, the size is good as it’s not too large to take into stores, it rides very smooth and easy to manoeuvre, the under basket is large so it holds pretty much anything, the handle bar is a nice height so you don’t feel like you are bending over to push it (but it does not adjust) and it folds up to a decent size to fit in your trunk!

Shipping is $13.18 (more or less depending on your location) and once you add this stroller to your cart, a $10 shipping discount will be applied, reducing the cost to just $3.18. Personally, that’s not a cost I would even mind paying for the convenience of having it delivered straight to my door but you could choose to pick it up in-stores instead as well if the option is available.

Canada Post: Free Pierre Pierre Belvédère Red Notebook ($17 Value) With Postage-Paid Postcards $2.50 Purchase & Free Shipping (GLITCH?)

Posted by on June 21, 2015 at 6:15 PM

Canada Post: Free Pierre Pierre Belvédère Red Notebook ($17 Value) With Postage Paid Postcards $2.50 Purchase & Free Shipping (GLITCH?)

Need a postcard or stamps? Then hurry up and order them from CanadaPost.com because for a limited time, you can get a free Pierre Belvédère red notebook, valued at $16.95, with purchase of any anniversary product, such as the 2015 Canadian flag postage-paid postcards for $2.50. Shipping is free as well.

Once you add the postcards for $2.50 to your cart, the Pierre Belvédère notebook will automatically appear in your cart. To view it, simply click “view” on the side of the page, above the big blue checkout button (but only when you have added the stamps to your cart). Unfortunately, it won’t work to see what exactly the notebook consists of but I did find a nearly identical one at Amazon.com. That one is currently priced at $16.25 and includes daily journal, address and expense pages for a total of 154 pages. My assumption would be that the one at Canada Post includes the same amount of pages but you never know!

Canada Post: Free Pierre Pierre Belvédère Red Notebook ($17 Value) With Postage Paid Postcards $2.50 Purchase & Free Shipping (GLITCH?)Now this is where it gets tricky (or should I say, glitchy): I mentioned that the notebook will be automatically added to your cart but once you go to actually check out, Canada Post’s system will indicate that one of the items in your cart is unavailable. This is supposedly in reference to the notebook but many Moosers have reported that they were still able to both complete the transaction and to see the notebook as being included on their invoice.

So basically, complete this order at your own risk! If you need postcards or stamps anyways, then I think it’s most certainly worth trying to get the notebook, especially since Canada Post’s system does seem to be pushing the orders through. No word on how much longer this will last though, so if I were you, I would complete the order quickly. If you happen to not receive the notebook, despite your invoice including it, then you could always try to raise the issue with Canada Post directly in the hopes of either getting the notebook later anyways or maybe trying to get a discount. Pre Order 2+ Games To Save 20% @ Best Buy or Amazon Canada

Discounts on newly released games are somewhat rare but Moosers, here’s your chance to save 20%! Until Thursday, head over to either Best Buy or Amazon to save 20% on the pre-order of two or more video games as part of E3’s special pre-order deal. This offer is only available online.

Best Buy

If you decide to pre-order games at Best Buy, keep in mind that you need to be a Reward Zone member in order to be able to take advantage of this offer. On the bright side, I’m sure many of you already are subscribed, but if you’re not, just click on the second link above to become a member for free. It only takes a couple of seconds of filling out the necessary information (one minute tops).

Once you have either registered or entered your Reward Zone membership information, then a unique promotional code will be e-mail to you. You can then use it at checkout to get your 20% discount on the pre-order of two or more games.

Amazon

If you prefer to shop at Amazon, then you need to enter the Amazon coupon code SAVE20E3 at checkout in order to get your discount once you have added to pre-order games to your cart. The following exclusions apply: Skylanders, Disney Infinity, LEGO Dimensions; Collector’s Editions, Limited Editions, Gold Editions, Limited Collector’s Editions; consoles and accessories.

Pre-order games

I tend to only buy video games once they have been officially released but a couple of days ago, I pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight as a Father’s Day gift for my hubby. The limited edition is currently sold out and on backorder anyways because of a production issue but you can pre-order the game for either PS4 or Xbox One for $69.99.

Very often, game publishers throw in bonuses for those who pre-order games and in fact, the Batman one currently even comes with the Waynetech booster pack, which includes Harley Quinn as a fully playable character. This game comes out June 23rd, so if you have been wanting to play it, I would definitely get it now for the bonus and the 2o% discount if you get another game. Here are other top choices that you could pre-order now:

The links here all point towards Best Buy but you can get all of these at Amazon if you prefer to shop there by searching for the appropriate title at the top of any Amazon page.

Your games are sure to qualify for free shipping as well as Best Buy automatically ships all orders over $20 for free and Amazon’s free shipping minimum is $25.

(TODAY ONLY!) Amazon Canada: 44% Off Seagate Backup Plus 5TB External Hard Drive + FREE 200GB Cloud Storage Was $286 | Now Just $160 (EXPIRED)

Moosers, this deal expires at the end of the day but it’s just too hot for me to pass up on telling you about it! At Amazon right now, you can get the Seagate Backup Plus 5TB external hard drive 3.0 on sale for just $159.99. It was originally priced at $285.99 and is now down by 44%. Shipping is free as well.

I have been in the market for an external hard drive for what seems like ages now and this deal has definitely gotten my attention as usually, 5TB external hard drives are much pricier. I had a look at Best Buy and the cheapest 5TB external hard drive I found is the Seagate Backup Plus 3.5″, which is priced at $189.99.

In terms of ratings and reviews, 50 customers rated this external hard drive 4.5/5 stars on Amazon.ca. CNET even gave it 4/5 stars with the following bottom line:

Fast and massive, the Seagate Backup Plus Desktop is an excellent backup drive for any USB 3.0-enabled computer or server.

What’s cool about it is that it also comes with 200GB of cloud storage and mobile device backup. The former could definitely come in handy, especially if you’re only wanting to transfer a couple of files from one computer to another. For long-term file storage, it might be better to use the external hard drive itself but for a quick transfer, I would definitely opt for the cloud alternative.

As for the mobile back, all you need to do is install the free Seagate mobile backup app onto and Android or iOS smart phone to then be able to back up your device either onto the drive itself or onto the included cloud storage.

This is also by the best price in comparison to the other sizes:

  • 2TB is 11% off: reg. $131.99/ now $117.97
  • 3TB is 26% off: reg. $175.99/ now $129.99
  • 4TB is 30% off: reg. $241.99/ now $169.99

So even if you have been considering a 4TB external hard drive, you are much better off getting the 5TB for $10 cheaper!

To give you an idea, this same hard drive is actually currently on sale for $184.97 at Tiger Direct, so Amazon’s price is pretty hot!
