Jacob Canada Store Closing Sale: 40% Off Regular Prices + Extra 20% Off Sale

Jacob Canada Store Closing Sale: 40% Off Regular Prices + Extra 20% Off Sale

Jacob will soon be no more as they have slowly been closing all of their stores all over the country and are now liquidating their online merchandise as well. You can now save 40% off all regularly-priced items along with an extra 20% off sale items. But hurry because supplies are going quick.

I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about Jacob’s as it has been a favourite store of mine for a number of years now. On the one hand, I’m sad that it won’t be my go-to store anymore but on the other, I can’t wait to take advantage of the discounts! The only hitch is that Jacob’s site is slightly slow right now but if you’re patient, you can certainly score some great clothes at a fraction of the price.

Considering the slowness of Jacob’s site and the quick rate at which clothes are selling out, I suggest that you open each item that you like in a seperate window. The quickest way to do so is to click on each item by pressing down on your mouse’s wheel. Alternatively, you can also right-click on the picture and click on “open in a new tab”. Do this for all the products that interest you and while they load, you can keep browsing.

Usually, my first instinct would be to check out the sale section because of the additional 20% discount but in this case, the 40% off regular prices is actually quite enticing as well. I found the two-tone cape with pockets at a regular price of $99.99 but with the discount, it can be yours for just $59.94. Yes, you read that right: it’s a cape but a much classier-looking one than say, Batman’s! Jacob Canada Store Closing Sale: 40% Off Regular Prices + Extra 20% Off Sale

It comes in one size, so you won’t have to worry about it being too small or big and it features 3/4 dolman sleeves, with side pockets and buttons on the front. A cape with buttons… pretty cool, right?

I also found 2 belts on final sale in the clearance section but although the extra 20% off doesn’t apply to these, the $2.99 price tag is still well worth it, especially since they were originally priced at $39, putting them at a 93% discount. It’s essentially the same belt twice but just in two different colours: dark blue or white.

Shipping is free on orders over $100.

Toys R Us Canada Midnight Madness Sale Starting @ 6pm Tonight!

Posted by on October 24, 2014 at 3:00 PM

Toys R Us Canada Midnight Madness Sale Starting @ 6pm Tonight!

Starting at 6pm EDT tonight, Toys R Us will be having a Midnight Madness Sale but don’t miss it because it’s only 6 hours and will end at midnight. Plus, when you spend over $100, you will also get 75 bonus Air Miles reward miles.

Keep in mind that not all deals will be live at exactly 6pm. Some will only start at 7pm, 8pm or 10pm. Below I have selected some of the hottest deals that are worth paying attention to but you can check out all of these either once the event goes live or in Toys R Us’ sneak preview flyer.

6pm – 12am

7pm – 12am

8pm – 12am

10pm – 12am

If you don’t already have an eReader, then the 30% discount on Kobo readers and accessories is certainly worth taking advantage of. The Kobo Touch eReader, for instance, comes down to just $56 instead of $79.99. That is an incredible price to pay for an eReader and a Kobo one at that. In fact, the Kobo Touch is all out of stock on Chapters Indigo’s site and the cheapest eReader available there right now is the Kobo Arc 7 at $129.99. Sure, it’s an inch bigger than the touch but I promise, you won’t even notice the difference. I have had the same Sony eReader 6″ for a couple of years now and I certainly don’t mind that it’s “only” 6 inches in size. With the Kobo Touch, you can add over 2.5 million books (I dare you to reach that threshold) and it also has a 1-month battery life.

For the most part, shipping is free on orders over $25. However, some larger items may come at an extra shipping cost, which you will see at check-out.

Sears Canada: 80% Off Lagostina Endura Wok – Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 23, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Sears Canada: 80% Off Lagostina Endura Wok Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Sears has a great deal right now on the Lagostina Endura wok. Get it now for just $19.99, which is 80% off its original retail price of $99.

The Lagostina Endura is a heavy gauge and forged aluminum wok that can hold up to 3L. It’s non-stick, is safe to use on induction cook-tops and although hand-washing is recommended, could technically be thrown in the dishwasher if you want. It’s also oven save up to 350°F. Although it has a couple of negative reviews, one reviewer wasn’t able to use it on her induction range and the other found that it scratched her stove top. Overall, however, this wok boasts a general consensus of 4 stars out of 5 with 10 reviews like this one:

I bought this wok because my family love stir fry and we eat it often. This wok made the cooking extra easy and the clean up was just as easy. I am so impressed by this product and i wished that i had ordered more when it was on sale.

Living in a such a culturally diverse country as Canada is means that our kitchens need to be stocked with cookware essentials from other countries. A wok is one of those must-have kitchen items, especially considering its versatility. From deep drying to steaming, poaching and so much more, what can’t a wok do?

In fact, did you know that woks first originated in Guangdong, China. Their use has since spread into much of the industrial world. I have to admit that the only ever time I make use of my wok is to make General Tao but boy, is it worth it and very easy also! Just slice some chicken thighs into cubes, cover in corn starch and deep fry in a wok until golden brown. Then toss it with General tao sauce (either homemade or store bought) and that’s it!

As for shipping, you have a couple of options at your disposal: you can either choose to pay the $7.95 shipping fee to have this wok delivered straight to your door or you can go pick it up for free at a Sears store near you. Alternatively, if you add a couple more items to your cart and your total comes up to $99 or more, then your order will also automatically qualify for free shipping.

DC Shoes Canada Promo Code: Exclusive Extra 40% Off All Sale Styles (+ Free Shipping)

Reduced prices in the sale section are great and all but what’s even better is getting an additional discount. During the next week, you can save an extra 40% off all sale styles at DC Shoes with our Bargainmoose exclusive. Plus, DC Shoes also offers absolutely free shipping on any order!

Click here to shop the sale section @ DCShoes.com now

  • Coupon Code: MOOSE40
  • Discount: extra 40% off sale
  • Expiry: 28th October 2014

Don’t skip over this deal thinking that all DC Shoes offers is shoes. Their inventory is actually compromised of a whole lot more than just footwear and in fact, their sale section has loads of selections from bags, clothing, to sandals, accessories, snow apparel etc.

Although the style is a little too funky for my taste, I found the women’s squad snowboard jacket on sale for $98.99 (reg. $199.95), which means that with the Bargainmoose exclusive, it comes even further down to just $59.39. Shopping for a nice winter jacket in the fall or even winter seasons can be somewhat of a challenge on one’s wallet at times, so the fact that there is such a large discount to be had on it is actually rather surprising. This jacket could most certainly be perfect for snowboarding or even skiing as it features mesh lined venting, a hidden bandana and a waist gaiter. It’s only available in XS and S, but I chose it to demonstrate just how much you can save.

Speaking of snowboarding, there are even a couple of snowboarding boots in the sale section! Given how expensive these can be, I certainly hope that all of your snowboardin’ Moosers will jump at this opportunity. My favourites are definitely the women’s search snowboard boots, which come down to $53.99 from a sale price of $89.98 (reg. $179.95). They come in either white or turquoise and feature a BOA H3 coiler closure system and a new Unilite outsole. The only review they have is the following 4/5 star one:

BOA system is easy to use and saves time vs. traditional laces! However, the occasional readjustment is required if boarding for the day. Inside lock for laces is hard to unlock, but it just takes time so be patient.

It’s only available in a medium, but I also spotted an awesome boy’s amo snowboard jacket for $32.39 instead of $53.99 (reg. $109.95) and as I’m sure plenty of parents will appreciate, it’s nice and bright. Plus, it also has a near perfect rating with a total of 4 reviews.

All in all, there is plenty to choose and save on, but if you happen to miss the chance to use our Bargainmoose exclusive, then make sure to keep an eye on our forum for more DC Shoes promo codes.

Starbucks Canada Fall Sale: 25% Off Coffee, Mugs, Tumblers Etc.

Posted by on October 22, 2014 at 4:30 PM

Starbucks Canada Fall Sale: 25% Off Coffee, Mugs, Tumblers Etc.

Hey Starbucks lovers, I have a sweet deal for you! Starbucks’ Fall Sale is now on and you can save 25% off a variety of merchandise from coffee, syrups, tumblers and more.

Did you know that Starbucks’ infamous pumpkin spice latte, or PSL for short, has been around for more than a decade? If this is your drink of choice during the fall season or even if you are curious to try a version of it, then definitely check out the VIA pumpkin spice latte. It’s on sale for $5.49 (reg. $7.95) for 5 pouches that are dissolvable in 8 fl oz of hot water. Admittedly, it doesn’t boast the best reviews but I think it’s important to remember that although the VIA line of products are meant to replace the in-store pumpkin spice latte, it’s certain not to taste the exact same as it’s an instant version.

Starbucks’ Thanksgiving blend is also on sale and can be yours for $13.99 (reg. $18.95) for a 1lb bag. It’s a dark roast coffee that boasts a full body and herbal notes. It’s actually a mix between the popular Sumatra and Guatemala Antigua blends. In fact, here’s what quirky reviewer had to say about it:

A new favourite Starbucks coffee! Does not taste like pumpkins… or turkey for that matter. Very good! Will be sure to purchase again.

There is plenty more merchandise to pick and save on, but here’s a short list of the products that caught my attention:

Love caramel? Then you might be happy to know that Starbucks’ caramel syrup is also currently on sale for $6.99 instead of its original retail price of $9.95. It comes in a 350ml bottle and in case you have never tried it (though I doubt that many of you haven’t Starbucks Canada Fall Sale: 25% Off Coffee, Mugs, Tumblers Etc. ), it features smooth and buttery caramel tasting notes. I have ordered numerous caramel lattes and the syrup definitely does add a very pleasant butteryness to any drink! But do keep in mind that to make a caramel macchiato, you actually need vanilla syrup and not caramel!

Even better is that although shipping is usually only free on orders over $75, this time around the minimum threshold has been lowered to $50.

Ultimate Ski Vacations Canada: 2 For 1 Ski Vacations

Love to hit the slopes? Then here’s a wonderful opportunity for the upcoming snowy weather: Ultimate Ski Vacations is offering a 2-for-1 deal on a couple of ski vacation packages to Mont-Tremblant, Mont Saint-Anne and a couple of others.

I have to admit that I haven’t gone skiing in quite a while since it was definitely out of the question during pregnancy and now we’re still waiting for the weather to get colder but this is certainly the kind of vacation package that I would love to take advantage of as any opportunity to save money is a good one.

Below is a list of the packages available and for which mountains (the price is for 2 people):

Mont-Sainte-Anne, QC – $761

  • 4 nights
  • 3-day lift ticket + night skiing
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

Mont-Tremblant, QC – $384

  • 3 nights
  • 2-day lift ticket
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • Select discounts at the village bars, restaurants & stores
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

Panorama, BC – $606

  • 5 nights
  • 4-day lift ticket (Monday-Thursday)
  • Roundtrip Calgary airport transfers
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

Lake Placid, NY – $376

  • 3 nights
  • 2-day lift
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

Stowe, VT – $762

  • 3 nights
  • 3-day or 5-day lifts
  • Daily breakfasts
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

Banff, AB – $1,091

  • 5 nights
  • 4-day lift ticket (Monday-Thursday)
  • Return transfers from Calgary airport
  • Shuttles to and from ski areas
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

Le Massif, QC – $479

  • 4 nights
  • 3-day lift
  • Daily breakfasr
  • 2-for-1 skiis & biikes tune-up coupons for any Ontario location ($50 value)
  • 2-for-1 lift tickets at Blue Mountain, Ontario ($81 value)

I can’t vouch for the other ones but I can certainly attest to the wonderfulness of the Mont-Tremblant mountain. It’s absolutely huge! There are plenty of trails and the best part is that it’s a really high mountain. I’m sure it’s not the highest mountain on this list and perhaps not even the most spectacular one, but it’s one worth visiting nonetheless and for just $384, it’s definitely a steal. The Mont-Tremblant village is also loads of fun and although I haven’t been in a while, there is a bakery worth visiting as the goods are scrumptious.

Ecko Canada: $10 Womens’ Tees (66% Off)

Posted by on October 21, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Ecko Canada: $10 Womens Tees (66% Off)

Ecko Untld. has a fabulous deal out right now on womens’ t-shirts: they’re just $10! Since they originally retailed for $30, that puts them at 66% off.

I would never pay $30 for a single t-shirt and so, this deal is pretty awesome. Out of the 10 styles available, only one of them is reduced to $25 (reg. $30), the black square bling tee, and the rest are all $10. Below is a list of the ones you can get for just $10:

  • MMA special training
  • Black with white rhino
  • White with blue rhino
  • Black with white logo
  • EE black logo
  • White athletic with rhino and pink stripes
  • Camo style
  • Pink MMA with big rhino
  • White v-neck

All of the available t-shirts are v-necks and are made of a thin stretchy material. For any of you Chanel fans, check out the EE logo t-shirt as the design on the front is very reminiscent of the French fashion icon. The camo one is pretty cool, especially for all of you exercise buffs, though it could just as easily be worn casually as well. Ecko Canada: $10 Womens Tees (66% Off)

Although the discount isn’t as high, men’s tees are also on sale. For a limited time, you can get them for just $20 instead of their regular price of $36-$42. Surprisingly, even MMA t-shirts have been slashed in price, like this MMA rhino power t-shirt.

If you need a new winter coat, then I definitely suggest that you take a look at Ecko’s selection. Their selection of coats is for the most part 25% off right now. In the womens’ section, the white short jacket with fake fur particularly caught my attention as it’s on sale for $230 (reg. $250). Personally, I hardly ever zip up my jacket in the winter and what’s great about this one is that it features a double zipper. You could use the first zipper to shield your neck from the cold wind, all the while keeping your jacket partially unzipped with the outer zipper.

Shipping is free on orders over $80, so if you need filler items, be sure to check out Ecko’s deals section. There are plenty of great picks like the men’s hood foil horizon on sale for $40 instead of $70. Ecko’s logo is printed on the front in a foil font-style but it’s not overly obvious.

Chapters Indigo Canada: 28% Off Thomas & Friends Lumberyard Waterfall Adventure – Now $125

Posted by on October 20, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Chapters Indigo Canada: 28% Off Thomas & Friends Lumberyard Waterfall Adventure Now $125

Dive into savings with 28% off the Thomas & Friends lumberyard waterfall adventures at Chapters Indigo. It originally retailed for $175.95 but is now on sale for $125.95. Since Chapters Indigo offers automatically ships orders over $25 for free, you’re sure to get it shipped for free as well.

Writing about this playable train set, I found out two facts about Thomas & Friends that had never known about. The first is that it actually started out as a British TV show and the second is that it has been around ever since 1984!

Judging by the picture, it looks like a lot of fun for both boys and girls. Kids can maneuver Thomas, the train, around the track as he picks up blade cargo, then uses it to chop wood and create a bridge for him to pass on and restart the whole process all around. It seems very repetitive but I guarantee that any little one is sure to love going ’round and ’round!

At Toys R Us, this same set is currently $179.99. Toys R Us’ US site also lists this set at $129.99 and while it’s only $4 more than Chapters’ deal, shipping is also killer at more than $30. The only reviews I found were at Toys R Us and these were super positive with a total of 4 stars out of 5. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

Overall a great toy. The fun up and down ramp, the magnet log catcher you can twist. the only reason gave a 4 for quality was the logs get a little stuck at times. My daughter and her little brother 2/12 both love to play with it together. Great gift for any kid! Highly recommend!

Chapters Indigo is also currently offering a 20% discount on all Thomas & Friends wooden railway toys. There are plenty of railway engines available but the following 3 items definitely stood out to me the most:

The Thomas tough trike is actually 50% off and looks like it could be loads of fun for the summer or even for riding down the hallway this winter! Just be sure to deck your little one in SOA-related clothing! Chapters Indigo Canada: 28% Off Thomas & Friends Lumberyard Waterfall Adventure Now $125

Wool Overs Promo Code: $10 Off Any Order

In celebration of having reached one million customers worldwide, Woolovers is offering a $10 credit on any order but only for a limited time.

Click here to shop @ Woolovers.ca now

  • Coupon Code: AMILLION
  • Discount: $10 off
  • Expiry: 24th October 2014

Polyester is great and all but if you want a piece of clothing that will last you longer than one season and will feel better on your skin, then naturally-made clothes is the way to go and that’s exactly what Woolovers offers. All of their clothes are made from either cotton, wool or cashmere and surprisingly, nearly all of the options are very budget-friendly.

To really get the most bang for your buck, head over to the “special offers” section first. For instance, I found the striped henley shirt on sale for $26 (reg. $36) or 2 for $46. It’s a striped sweater that comes in seven different colour variations (i.e. cerise/ linen, cobalt/ spearmint, etc.) and is made from 30% silk and 70% cotton.

The one sweater that really caught my attention though is the asymmetric buttoned vesttop on sale for $58 (or 2 for $106). Available in nine colours, it’s made from 30% cashmere and 70% merino and actually boasts close to 60 reviews with 5/5 stars! Here’s one review that particularly stood out to me:

Oh My goodness !! I am new to Woolovers and bought this top on the reviews of others and have to say that I am SOOOOO pleased with it !!! It is so comfy and stylish and the quality is fantastic !! And the service is brilliant too ! I am about to order another 2 in different colours !! Thank you Woolovers !!

My hubby’s birthday is coming up in a week and since he loves sweaters and I have been ever so slowly steering him away from the synthetically made ones, I’m definitely going to take advantage of the code above to get the cable zip mock neck sweater in sand colour. Down to $42 (reg. $52), it’s made from cashmere cotton and judging by the 20 near perfect reviews, it’s super soft and can easily be worn in either cooler of warmer temperatures without being too bulky. It’s also unisex.

Shipping is free on orders over $150, otherwise a $10 fee will apply. If your order doesn’t reach the $150 minimum threshold for free shipping, then the $10 discount will essentially cover the shipping, thus resulting in free shipping! Wool Overs Promo Code: $10 Off Any Order Remember, they actually ship from outside Canada, so there amy be potential fees at your door.

For more Woolovers promo codes, always be sure to check the Bargainmoose forum.

Snapfish Canada Promo Code: 60% Off Canvas Prints

It’s not too late! If you hurry, you can save 60% off canvas prints at Snapfish Canada right now, but only when you enter the code below at checkout!

Click here to customize your own canvas print @ Snapfish.ca now

  • Coupon Code: CANVASOCTCA
  • Discount: 60% off canvas prints
  • Expiry: 20th October 2014

Every day, I take dozens of pictures on my phone and I’m certain that many of you Moosers are the exact same way because of how much smart phones have simplified this task. But have you even printed any of your pictures? I haven’t. They’re all still in my phone, with the exception of the odd couple of times that I have had to transfer them onto my computer in order to make room for even more picture taking.

As such, I’ll be taking advantage of Snapfish Canada’s promotion to create a small collage of my baby’s pictures. I plan on creating a couple of canvases of varying sizes to then either hang in my own hallway or perhaps even give as gifts to the grandparents! Snapfish Canada Promo Code: 60% Off Canvas Prints

Here are the prices that you can expect to see once you apply the code at checkout:

  • 8″ x 10″: reg. $59/ now $23.60
  • 11″ x 14″: reg. $79/ now $31.60
  • 16″ x 20″: reg. $99/ now $39.60
  • 20″ x 24″: reg. $119/ now $47.60

The canvases at Snapfish Canada are professionally printed onto conservation-grade canvases and are finished with a satin top coat. The great part about them is that they portray a gallery-feel as the fact that they’re 1.5″ in depth helps the picture to really stand out. Each canvas is also wrapped around the edges for an even more professional look.

Canvases are great and all, but if you don’t have enough room on your walls for those and would prefer to get any other photo item, then make sure to use our Bargainmoose exclusive Snapfish Canada promo code that Eva recently blogged about instead as it will allow you to save 30% off everything. At Snapfish Canada, you can customize your own photo mugs, books, cards, posters, calendars, puzzle and even hockey pucks, along with a whole slew of other cool items.

Shipping is at a flat rate of $9.99 per canvas and $2.99 for each additional one that you add to your cart. Keep in mind that it will take a couple of days for your order to be processed and printed, but it should be shipped within 7-10 days.

Gap Canada Sale: Up To 75% Off Styles For Men, Women & Kids

Gap Canada Sale: Up To 75% Off Styles For Men, Women & Kids

Want to save big at The Gap? Now is the time to shop because until Wednesday, they’re offering up to 75% off plenty of styles for the whole family.

Overall, sizes are going quick, so I suggest that you Moosers shop ASAP and not wait until the last minute. Since we’re smack dab in the fall season, I had a look at the selection of sweaters and found a couple of great choices for under $30. The turk-stich sweater, for instance, was originally $39.95, but is now on sale for just $9.97. It comes in either white, blue or pink and surprisingly, is still available in all sizes. It’s surprising because nearly all of the other sweaters reduced to close to $10 are for the most part, only available in either XS or XL. The tuck-stitch sweater is primarily made out of cotton and looks super comfy as it features an easy fit.

Although it’s only available in sizes XL and XXL, I also found the bomber jacket on sale for just $33.97, which is a 65% reduction from its original price of $98. It comes in white and I thought I would mention it anyways despite its lack of smaller sizes because it looks like it runs smaller. But don’t take my word for it as I’m only basing myself off the picture. To get a better estimate of the size, be sure to use Gap’s size chart, which you can click at the top of the “add to bag” button on any item. This jacket is 100% cotton, is machine washable and has a quilted lining.

If you click over to the tall section, then there is also a tall sized version of this coat available in sapphire blue, but only in the small size. I’m not tall by any means, but I would certainly consider getting the tall version anyways just to have a looser kind style. In fact, I also found a baby quilted jacket on sale for just $19.99 (reg. $34.95). Available in sizes from newborn to 12 months, it comes in grey and features a quilted jersey knit with full lining. It even has 2 reviews with a total of 4.5/5 stars! Here’s what someone had to say about it:

I purchased this jacket as a backup jacket for my son; I figured it’s neutral enough, and I was right. This jacket is simple and practical. If it wasn’t for the closet space, I would probably buy more in different sizes…

The only exclusion to this sale is on Gap Factory items and shipping is free on orders over $50.

  • Expiry: 30th November 2014

Usually priced at $4.99 per month, Kidoodle is an online service for watching TV shows that have been certified by the kidSAFE Seal Program and has also received the PTPA Award, which is given out to family-friendly products and services. Designed for kids 12 and under, Kidoodle TV can be played on multiple devices from PCs, to Macs, tablets and even smart phones. Promotions like these are usually only for subscribers, but surprisingly, existing members can also enter the promo code to extend their subscription by two months for free!

It’s certainly a marketing ploy, but what’s even cooler about Kidoodle’s promotion is that they have also designed two sets of printable TV cards that you can give out to trick or treaters and share this promotion with them as well. For every of the above-mentioned Kidoodle promo code used before the time runs up, Kidoodle will also donate $0.50 to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. Cartoons on TV just aren’t the same anymore and so, I was actually pleasantly surprised to see plenty of “oldies” in Kidoodle’s available content. Here are some of the titles that they have available (scroll down for the Canadian content):

  • Zorro
  • Waybuloo
  • Danger Rangers
  • Yogabba Gabba!
  • Transformers
  • Paddington Bear
  • Super Mario World
  • Sonic Underground
  • Sabrina’s Secret Life
  • Madeline
  • My Little Pony
  • Johnny Test
  • Inspector Gadget
  • G.I. Joe
  • Conan The Adventurer
  • Caillou
  • Angela Ananconda

On top of these, there are also a number of education titles from National Geographic and even Quest Man’s Journey Into Space is on there as well. In fact, there are also eight My Little Pony titles available and I have to admit that having watching a couple myself, I was surprised at the level of vocabulary used by the characters, I definitely suggest checkout out those as well. All in all, there are plenty of really awesome TV shows to keep your little one(s) entertained and considering it’s just $5 per month after the 2½ free month period is over, it’s definitely well worth it!

Bench Canada: 57% Off Zip Through Track Top – Now $30 (+ Extra 50% Off ALL Sale Items)

Bench Canada: 57% Off Zip Through Track Top Now $30 (+ Extra 50% Off ALL Sale Items)

Outside cold temperatures got you down? Stay warm and cozy with the zip through track top at Bench. It’s already on sale for $59.99 (reg. $69) and gets further slashed in price down to just $29.99 at checkout. In fact, you can save an additional 50% off all sale items for a limited time. The discount is automatically applied at checkout.

Advertised as being for track, field or playing ball, this track top certainly looks like it could be a lot more universal than that. Gone are the days of corny-looking track suits with bold colours as this one is actually quite stylish. Available in either black, white or blue, it would seem that the last option is actually the most popular as only sizes L through XL are still available. The other two colours are still available in all sizes.

I asked my hubby which one he would like and he automatically zoomed in on the black alternative. Personally, I much prefer the white one as I find it would look even better with a pair of jeans, but to each their own! Also, the collar is certainly perfect against the cold wind as it’s perpetually popped up, whether the jacket is zipped up or not.

I also found a similar style for women: the answell zip thru. Since it’s on sale for $79.99 (reg. $89), it can be yours for just $39.99. Primarily made out of cotton, it’s a slim fitting zip jacket with a hoodie. You can get it in either white, black or grey.

With any of you with a little girls, the snowdrifter hoodie is worth checking out as well as it matches the other two jackets mentioned in this post. Heck, you could get a similarly-styled jacket for the entire family, have everyone math and get an additional half off everything! Bench Canada: 57% Off Zip Through Track Top Now $30 (+ Extra 50% Off ALL Sale Items)

The snowdrifter hoodie comes further down to just $34.99 from a sale price of $69.99 (reg. $79) and although like the womens’ one, it too has a hoodie, albeit one lined with fuzzy fleece for extra warmth.

There is plenty more sale stock to choose from but I suggest that you sort it by price from the lowest to the highest to really get the most bang for your buck. There are a number of t-shirts and vests that you can get for $10 or less.

Shipping is free on orders over $75.

La Vie En Rose Canada: Just $5 For Second Bra

La Vie En Rose Canada: Just $5 For Second Bra

Every once in a while, La Vie En Rose has an ah-ma-zing promotion on bras and as luck would have it, it’s on right now! Until the end of the week-end, for any one bra that you buy, you will get the second for just $5.

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month? This promotion is certainly very fitting and in fact, did you know that just last week, La Vie En Rose donated as much as $60,000 to breast cancer research?

So if you need a bra, then now is the time to cash in. Well, even if you don’t need one, you should still take advantage of this promotion as it’s an awesome one. This is how I like to look at promotions like these: since the vast majority of La Vie En Rose’s bras boast a regular price tag of $39.95, this means that for two bras, you would be looking at paying $44.95 or essentially $22.48 for each. Another penny pinching way to look at it is that since the second bra would be just $5 instead of say, $39.95, then it comes up to savings of 88%!

Browsing around, I absolutely fell in love with the spectacular convertible strapless bra for $44.95. It’s definitely as spectacular as its name boasts it to be as it features molded demi cups partially covered with black lace. A medium-sized black bow ties the entire style together in the middle and judging by the picture, it looks like this bra certainly adds a lot of “oomph” to breasts! La Vie En Rose Canada: Just $5 For Second Bra

Even better is that it also applies to corsets like the laced back corset for $59.95 but keep in mind that the $5 promotion will only be applicable towards the cheapest item in your cart.

Since shipping is only free on orders over $75, you could also have a look at the rest of the sale section for savings on panties, sleepwear and even select menswear but keep in mind that the promotion mentioned above only applies to regularly-priced bras. To give you an idea, the cheapest bra in the sale section that I found is the Natural Body rose bra on sale for $17.99 (reg. $35.95) but there are a couple more styles to choose from as well. Boxers, for instance, are on sale from $6.99.

Select Games Starting From $1.50 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale

Select Games Starting From $1.50 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale

Fancy yourself a gamer? Grab a couple of games starting at $1.50 at Sony’s PlayStation Network right now! Keep in mind that while you will be able to see the Flash Sale, you will need to sign into your PSN account in order to descriptions and actually make a purchase.

The cheapest game you can get is Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for $1.49. Rekeased in 2009, it’s playable on PS3, PSP and PS Vita and it actually boasts a near perfect score on IGN and is labelled as one of their Editors’ Choice games. It’s even 8.8/10 on GameSpot! In fact, here’s a snippit from James Mielke’s review:

While it may seem as if Resident Evil fans are getting shortchanged on this one, it really isn’t the case. Judged on its own merits, Resident Evil 3 is a truly outstanding game. Unlike other series (Street Fighter, Tomb Raider) that offer incremental “improvements,” the RE lineup continues to refine an already excellent premise. This is a series with legs, and each new chapter does nothing to diminish it.

Listed from lowest to highest priced, here’s a short list of the other games you can get during PSN’s Flash Sale:

  • Mirror’s Edge: $2.25
  • BloodRayne – Betrayal: $2.49
  • Mortal Kombat: $2.49
  • Knytt Underground: $2.49
  • Sacra Terra – Kiss of Death: $2.99
  • Sanctum 2: $3.49
  • Beyond Good and Evil: $3.49
  • Giana Sisters – Twisted Dreams: $3.49
  • Portal 2: $4.99
  • Resident Evil Code – Veronica X: $5.99
  • Battle Princess of Arcadia: $7.49
  • Remember Me: $11.99

A game you should definitely consider getting is Portal 2. Only playable on PS3, it’s an absolutely incredible game that will have you hooked within the first couple of minutes. Essentially a puzzle game, the goal is to create puzzles in order to escape the chambers that you are trapped inside. Each “level” gets progressively harder as you advance through the game and even cooler is that you can either play it solo or with someone else.

In fact, you can also rent the first and second volumes of Kill Bill for $3.99 each in SD (or $4.99 in HD). I have to admit that I totally thought it was a game version of the popular movie but as it turns out, it’s the movie itself! So if you want to re-watch (or perhaps even watch for the first time), this two-part phenomenal movie, then here’s your chance!
