Black Friday Sale Starts This Friday @ Best Buy Canada!

Black Friday Sale Starts This Friday @ Best Buy Canada!

A little over a day is left until Best Buy’s Black Friday deals go live and if like me, you have been staring at the giant countdown on their site in anticipation, then what you’re about to read next is sure to jolt you with excitement. Best Buy’s Black Friday flyer is available for previewing. Yes that’s right, you can check out all of the deals right now, decide what you want ahead of time and then be ready once the deals officially go live exactly one minute before midnight on November 28th.

A little earlier, I mentioned that the PS4 GTA V + The Last of Us Remastered will be just $449.99 at Future Shop, but if you prefer shopping at Best Buy, then rest assured that it will be the same price there as well. Below is a list of some of the other hot Best Buy Black Friday deals:

Looking to get a Mac? The Apple Macbook Pro 13.3″ laptop with retina display will be $150 off at $1,249.99 instead of its usual price of $1,399.99. It features an Intel Core i5 2.6GHZ, 8GB of ram and 128GB flash storage. Speaking of tech deals, the Seagate backup plus 5TB external hard drive will be as much as $100 off and can be yours for just $159.99 instead of $259.99! That’s pretty awesome considering it’s still regularly priced at Amazon.ca.

Select box sets will also be up to $50 off. Starting from $19.99, you will be able to save on Fringe, Friends, Flight of the Conchords and others with a total of 25 titles.

With all of these awesome deals, always remember to price compare. Sometimes a deal may seem like a good deal but then be relatively the same price everywhere else.

Shipping is free on orders over $25.

Future Shop Canada Black Friday Deals Start This Friday!

Posted by on November 26, 2014 at 4:30 PM

Future Shop Canada Black Friday Deals Start This Friday!

This Friday, Future Shop‘s store will be filled with loads of hot Black Friday deals and if you’re looking for a Christmas gift, then better mark your calendars to shop as soon as the clock strikes 12:01am on November 28th 2014.

Overall, Future Shop’s Black Friday flyer is 16 pages long but it’s conveniently organized into sections like “gaming and movie”, “TVs”, “Computer & Tablets”, etc. Here’s a small sample of just some of the hottest deals but there are MANY more:

Christmas is right around the corner and a deal that immediately caught my eye is that the PS4 GTA V + The Last Of Us Remastered bundle will be available for just $449.99 but it will only be available on Future Shop’s site on Friday. Currently, a PS4 bundle with just one game at Future Shop is $449.99, so you’re essentially getting a free game with the Black Friday deal. Another deal worth noting is on the PS4 wireless remote. Instead of it’s original price of $64.99, it will be dropping in price to just $39.99.

If you need a new phone, then the iPhone 6 16GB will be down to just $129.99 (reg. $264.99) with a 2 year plan. Don’t believe the bendgate. The iPhone 5s 16GB will be free with a 2-year contract instead of it’s usual $154.99 price. Both of these are sure to sell out like hot cares, however, as they usually do. Just to give you an idea, every time Future Shop discounts the iPhone or any Apple products in a one-day flash sale, these sell out within hours, if not an hour. Apple products are extremely hot commodities, so if that’s what you’re after this Black Friday week-end, I suggest staying up until the deals officially go live. It would even help to try adding the items to your cart before they officially are live to save on time! Future Shop Canada Black Friday Deals Start This Friday!

Excited for Black Friday? Shipping at Future Shop is free on orders over $25.

Black Friday Sale On Now @ Keurig Canada! 24% Off All K-Cups

Posted by on November 25, 2014 at 1:15 PM

Black Friday Sale On Now @ Keurig Canada! 24% Off All K Cups

Love the convenience of k-cups? As part of their Black Friday Sale, Keurig is now offering 24% off all of their k-cups!

I go through k-cups like there’s no tomorrow as both my hubby and I are absolutely addicted to the convenience of these. Whether you already have a Keurig machine or are planning on getting on during the Black Friday craze going on right now, you’re going to need k-cups! Even if you already have a pantry full of these, I suggest taking advantage of this deal because it’s always better to take advantage of a deal now instead of paying full price when you need it in the future.

Not sure which k-cups to try? The Donut House collection is a very popular choice and it’s on sale for just $14.35 (reg. $18.88) for a bo of 24 k-cups. I tried buying it last year around this time and by the time that I got to the check-out, it was already sold out! It looks like the packaging has been changed though as it used to be a bright pink instead of the brown that it is now. It’s a very delicious and addicting coffee. In fact, out of 20 reviews, this coffee has generated a total consensus of 4.6/5 stars with reviews like this on:

Usually I find light roast lacking in flavor and tasting almost watery but that was not the case for this one. The taste is strong but extremely smooth with almost none of that dark roast bitterness

Another one I would recommend is the Van Houtte French Vanilla. It’s a light roast coffee with vanilla flavouring that you can now get on sale for $14.35 instead of $18.88. You can also get an iced coffee version on sale for $17.73 (reg. $23.32). It even has better reviews than the hot alternative.

Speaking of which, a couple of days ago I blogged about a deal on the new Keurig Rivo. You can currently get it on sale for $179.99 along with a free pack of Rivo packs and a free carousel. This promotion is on until November 27th and the best part is that if you wanted to pick up an extra pack of Rivo cups, you could get them on sale right now for just $11.39 instead of $14.99.

Shipping is free on orders over $45.

Get A Free Sample Of Claritin Non-Drowsy Tablets

Posted by on November 23, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Get A Free Sample Of Claritin Non Drowsy Tablets

Claritin is offering a brand new free sample of their non-drowsy product, so gets yours now before it’s too late! All you need to do is like Claritin on Facebook to claim your freebie.

Every so often, Claritin makes free trial sizes of its popular product available but only for a limited time. This freebie is set to expire a couple of days after the Black Friday week-end, so make sure not to miss it, especially since it could also end beforehand if all the samples are claimed. However, there is no way of knowing if the Claritin samples are almost out of stock or not, so make sure to claim yours as soon as possible.

I’m one of the lucky ones who doesn’t suffer from allergies but my hubby non-stop coughs, sneezes and blows his nose. Of course, it doesn’t help that he’s allergic to cats and we have two of those troublemakers but in any case, I can tell you that Claritin helps his right away. It’s best if you take it on a daily basis, so whether you have already tried their products in the past or are looking to give it a try for the first time, this sample pack is sure to help budget-wise at least a little bit.

A couple of weeks ago, my hubby had particularly bad symptoms and I rushed to get him Claritin from the pharmacy. I kid you not but not even 20 minutes later, he was back to normal. I’m sure it depends on each person but it’s still worth a shot if your allergy symptoms are bad.

Keep in mind that this Claritin freebie is for a free pack of non-drowsy tablets of 10mg.

Do you live in Quebec? Although you won’t be able to claim a free trial size of Claritin, you can, however, get a printable coupon for $3 off the purchase of 20 tablets or more. In many ways, this is perhaps even better than the freebie because rather than waiting for your sample pack to arrive, you can print the Claritin printable coupon and immediately head over to a pharmacy near you. A 20-tablet Claritin pack usually retails for about $15, so with a $3 rebate, this amounts to about a 20% discount.

Amazon Canada: PlayStation Plus 1-Year Membership Now $43.66 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on November 23, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Amazon Canada: PlayStation Plus 1 Year Membership Now $43.66 (EXPIRED)

The PlayStation Plus 1-year membership is just $43.66 at Amazon right now. It was originally priced $49.99.

By taking advantage of this deal now, you will be saving 13%. This is actually the lowest price I have seen the PlayStation Plus 1-year membership go for and with the holidays right around the corner, it’s definitely a great deal to take advantage of, whether you already have any of the systems.

Breaking down the current $43.60 deal, each month comes down to just $3.63. Every month, new games are made available for a free download and once you download them, they’re yours forever! Well, at least until you decide to delete them off your system. Amazon Canada: PlayStation Plus 1 Year Membership Now $43.66 (EXPIRED)

Here’s a snippet from a review on Amazon’s site:

With a PS+ subscription, you get instant access to a bunch of free games*, every month, and steep discounts every week. You don’t need it to play online for the PS3 or Vita, but it’s worth it just for all the stuff that comes with the subscription. You’ll probably find that it pays for itself within a matter of weeks, although your backlog will become an unwieldy mess.

Keep in mind that you need to manually download the free games each month as these won’t automatically be added to your system’s hard drive.

To give you an idea, here’s a list of the games that became free this month (November):

  • PS4: Binding of Isaac Rebirth & Steamworld Dig
  • PS Vita: The Hungy Horde & Escape Plan
  • PS3: Frozen Synapse Prime & Luftrausers

Speaking of which, the 1-year membership can be used on either a PlayStation 4, a PlayStation 4 or a PS Vita. The cool about this is that once you redeem the code on your account, then PS Plus will automatically become available on any other system. This means that if after playing the PS4, you decide you want to play an older game on the PS3, then you can just as easily access the PlayStation Plus network from there as well. In fact, different games for each system are often offered, so it’s a great way to play different free games.

Price comparing, I found that the PlayStation Plus 1-year membership is still regularly priced everywhere else, like at Walmart, Best Buy and Future Shop.

Since Amazon usually offers free shipping to orders over $25, you’re sure to get your 1-year membership card shipped for free as well.

Buffalo Jeans Canada Promo Code: Exclusive No Minimum Free Shipping

Buffalo Jeans Canada Promo Code: Exclusive No Minimum Free Shipping

Usually, shipping is only free on orders over $99 at Buffalo Jeans but during the next couple of days, you can use our Bargainmoose exclusive to get free shipping on any order with no required minimum purchase!

Click here to shop @ BuffaloJeans.ca

  • Coupon Code: FSBARGAINMOOSE
  • Discount: free shipping
  • Expiry: 27th November 2014

The best way to take full advantage of this Bargainmoose exclusive Buffalo Jeans coupon code is by getting something from the sale section.

For women, the cheapest tops I found are the Buffskull and the Slubbie. Both are on sale for $25.99 (reg. $34), are only available in a small size and are crop tops. For a shirt that is not a crop top, check out the Sweets. It’s a tank top that would need to be worn with an under shirt as it features a cut out design. It’s on sale for $29.99 (reg. $39).

If you’re on the hunt for a unique look to wear during the holidays or perhaps even to the annual family Christmas dinner, then definitely check out the Mermaid skirt. It looks absolutely phenomenal and is on sale for just $36.99 (reg. $49). As you can guess, it’s made in a mermaid style and features and black and white tie dye effect all around. It does look like it’s rather long but it could always be hemmed. The model in the picture on Buffalo’s site is 5’7″ and the skirt comes all the way down to the floor.

One of the cheapest casual style of jeans that I found for women are the Faith ones on sale for $79.99 (reg. $99). There are a couple of other style of pants that are cheaper but they’re perhaps better suited for the summer as one is white, the other is white with contrast stitching etc. The Faith jeans are skinny jeans with 98% cotton and come in a blue vintage colour.

Although it’s only on regularly-priced clothing, you can also take advantage of the ongoing promotion on Buffalo’s site right now where if you buy 2 items, you will get 20% off or if you buy 3 items, then you will get 30% off. Chances are good, however, that if you buy 2 or more items that your order will reach the usual $99 threshold for free shipping.

Speaking of which, I can tell you from experience that Buffalo Jeans orders are shipped quickly. I have ordered from them in the past and was pleasantly surprised when the mail man rang my doorbell two days later with a package in hand! Jet-Setter Canada: No Taxes + 20% Discount + Extra 5% Off!

Posted by on November 22, 2014 at 3:00 PM

Jet Setter Canada: No Taxes + 20% Discount + Extra 5% Off!

Time to pile on the savings! During Jet-Setter’s Holiday Sale Event, you can save 20% off select products and until Monday, you won’t be charged tax on anything as part of their Tax Free Weekend. Plus, you can also use Jet-Setter coupon code: JET15 on most items to save an additional 5% off any order!

In case you have never heard of Jet-Setter before, it’s an online store that primarily sells luggage and accessories for travel.

In the Holiday Sale Event section, there are plenty of folders, colourful laptop sleeves, bags and much more to save on. Whether you’re looking to travel soon — say to a beach resort — or maybe even in a couple of months, there are plenty of travel accessories that you can get now at a discount.

Black Friday is almost upon us and if you’re planning on getting a laptop, then you’re going to need a sleeve. The Pack-It Specter laptop sleeve 13″ comes down to just $21.28 from a sale price of $22.40 (reg. $28). It comes in 3 colours, from orange, green to white/ green and features light perforated padding, a Power Port on the side for convenient charging and it’s even washable!

Keep in mind that the Jet15 coupon code is a bit of a hit and miss one. I tried it on the pack-it liquid/ gel set and it wasn’t applied. However, the 20% discount was applied and so was the no tax special. Originally priced at $17, it comes down to $13.60 and comes with 4 travel-sized bottles with a capacity of 3oz. They also come in a durable polyurethane zip top pouch to further prevent any accidents. Flying can cause all sorts of havoc on your personal items, especially when you bring skincare products, so it’s best to be safe than sorry. There is nothing worse than opening your suitcase only to discover that shampoo leaked everywhere!

Do you always run out of room in your luggage or maybe even when going on any kind of trip at all? Then check out the Pack-It compression sacs. They come in a medium size and regularly priced at $12, they can now be yours for just $9. With 4 positive reviews, here’s one that particularly stood out to me:

It definitely does the job and the quality is good – durable and you don’t have to worry about it ripping. The only thing to be careful of is when you use it for packing your luggage. You can fit tons more stuff into your suitcase because of the compression, but your suitcase may end up being overweight.

Shipping is free on orders over $60.

Amazon Canada: $30 Off HooToo Tripmate Wireless N Router – Now $50

Posted by on November 20, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Amazon Canada: $30 Off HooToo Tripmate Wireless N Router Now $50

Amazon currently has a great deal on the HooToo TripMate N router: it’s now on sale for just $49.99, which is a $30 discount from its original price of $79.99. Shipping is also free.

So what exactly is the HooToo TripMate N router? it’s a palm-sized little device that acts as all of the following:

  • On the go router
  • External battery
  • Dual USB wall charger
  • Personal cloud

That’s actually a whole lot of uses for a device this small and that is just $50. Don’t judge it by its small size either as this nifty router packs a tremendous punch. You can use the router when on the go to convert a wire internet connection into a wireless network but keep in mind that it can only receive a signal and isn’t a LAN port.

The cloud personal storage is very useful as well, especially for those of you who travel with kids. Say you’re travelling with the kids, you could transfer a whole bunch of movies and TV shows onto an external hard drive or USB key, then connect it to the HooToo and wirelessly share the files onto each connected device (i.e. smart phone, iPad, tablet, etc.)

The dual USB charging part is also really cool, especially if there are numerous devices in need or charging in your household and just not enough plugs. My hubby and I have had to plug extension cords in nearly every room we use because of the terrible battery life on our iPhones ever since the recent update to iOS 8 and so this little device could definitely come in handy to reduce the amount of cords we have everywhere.

Speaking of which, the HooToo can also be used as an external battery as it features 6000mah. Basically, if you’re on the go and need to recharge any device from a phone to a tablet… anything that can charge via USB, you can simply plug the device into the HooToo and recharge it that way without the need for a plug. This could be particularly useful for students or any frequent traveller in general.

It also has a general consensus of 4.5 stars out of 5 with over 460 reviews. Here’s what someone had to say about it:

I own all the items in the HooToo Tripmate series, and this one is perfect for short trips or a long work day. This Tripmate mini is great for 3 day vacations because the battery is great for a flight and the router capabilities makes it perfect for your hotel. Just plug in an Ethernet press the power button, and you have wifi.

The only downside to an otherwise amazing gadget is that it doesn’t support Mac formatted hard disks.

Keurig Canada: $20 Off Rivo Brewer + Free 18 Rivo packs + Free Carousel + Free Shipping!!

Posted by on November 20, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Keurig Canada: $20 Off Rivo Brewer + Free 18 Rivo packs + Free Carousel + Free Shipping!!

Moosers, get ready for a whole lot of “free”! Keurig Canada is offering a $20 discount on their all new Rivo brewer and with its purchase, you can also now get a free box of 18 packs, a free carousel and free shipping. That’s triple the “free”! In fact, it’s even possible that you might get an additional box of packs for free as every Rivo usually comes with one.

Important: you need to add the pack of Rivo cups and the carousel to your shopping cart in order to get them as freebies. They will automatically be converted to “free” on you add a Rivo brewer to your cart.

The Rivo is Keurig’s all new brewer and is essentially an espresso-making machine that can also froth milk. With 15 bars of pressure, the Rivo can pour 2 different sizes of espresso and froth milk in 3 different ways. Just like any regular Keurig brewer, it takes less than a minute for an espresso to be poured. The water reservoir also has a 60oz capacity.

While the carousel usually retails for $27.99, while the packs are usually priced at $14.99. For the free pack of Rivo cups, you have the option among these 4 different types and there are 18 in each box:

Reading the descriptions, I am totally inclined to want to try the Delicato one as it feature chocolate undertones, but if you like your espresso nice and strong, then the intenso might be a better choice.

If this is your first espresso machine, then rest assured that a drink recipe booklet is included as well. Essentially, you can make any of the popular espresso-based beverages like a latte, a cappuccino, a mokaccino, an americano, and espresso con panna and many others. The possibilities are truly endless, especially when you add syrups and whipped cream into the mix. Keep in mind that whole milk is the best for frothing and for making a cappuccino but you can use just about any other type of milk, including soy milk. I have met people who like their lattes with half and half instead of milk and while it’s certainly delicious, I only recommend it if you have the time to gym the gym for about 10 hours afterwards.

Since shipping is free on orders over $45, you’re sure to get your Rivo, along with all of the freebies shipped for free as well.

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

Posted by on November 20, 2014 at 8:00 PM

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

CDs are quickly becoming obsolete but if you have plenty of these lying around and you don’t anticipate ever using them again, then here are 6 ways to repurpose your old CDs into something more useful.

1. Mosaic Tile

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

If you have a bit of time on your hands, then definitely check out Me And My DIY‘s moisaic tile idea. In this clever DIY, a bird bath is upscaled with the use of old CDs broken into little pieces and the cracks are then filled with grout. However, you could just as easily use any old plate, platter or even vase to create this look. No worries about the old broken mirror superstition either as CDs aren’t made of glass! 6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

2. Coasters

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

You can never have too many coasters but since store-bought ones are often tacky and overpriced, here’s a great way to repurpose those old CDs with a brilliant idea from Crafts by Amanda. With the use of colourful fabric, store-bought stencil or anything else you have on hand, you can create beautiful coasters that your guests are sure to notice. These would also make great stocking stuffers.

3. Closet Organizers

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

Here’s a fantastic way to organize any closet: DIY closet organizers from old CDs! This organization idea from Home Dzine would be particularly perfect for anyone looking to organize a child’s closet but it could also be used to organize your own closet by day of the week to avoid the hassle of having to decide what to wear each morning. Super fun and easy to make: just add a label, cut a slit in the CD and that’s it!

4. CD Hanging

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

This craft would be awesome for any teenager’s room, although it could just as easily be used as a room divider as well. Check out instructions on how to make these CD hangings at Creative Me Inspired You, though keep in mind that a drill is needed to make holes in the CDs.

5. Bowls

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

Did you know that CDs can be melted and re-shaped? As explained on Hubpages and Surviving A Teacher’s Salary, all you need to do is place a CD on a ball of foil and bake at 325 degrees. Don’t worry about it catching fire, everything will be fine but do make sure to employ caution as the CD will be extremely hot and this is the kind of craft that is perhaps better suited for adults only or at least, under strict adult supervision. Alternatively, you can also place the CD on an upside down mason jar for a more rounded bowl.

6. Tree Holiday Door Decoration

6 Ways To Repurpose CDs

Brought to you by Jean Synodinos‘ Youtube Channel, creating a tree door decoration from old CDs is a great idea, especially with the holiday season already upon us. Although you can glue CDs onto a cardboard in the form of a Christmas tree, you could also get creative and make a candy cane one or perhaps even one in the shape of a bow. Once you’re done, you can decorate it with Christmas lights to make it stand out even more.

BOGO @ Annabelle Canada With Promo Code (100% Off!)

BOGO @ Annabelle Canada With Promo Code (100% Off!)

Just a couple of days ago, Eva blogged about a BOGO deal at Marcelle and following suit, their sister site is currently offering the same exact promotion! Until the end of the week, for every product that you buy, you will get another exact one for free!

Click here to shop @ Annabelle.ca now

  • Coupon Code: NOVDOUBLE
  • Discount: buy 1, get 1 free
  • Expiry: 23rd November 2014

As of late, Annabelle has heavily been promoting their two Instaglam products, even enlisting actress Shenae Grimes as their spokeswoman. After watching their promotion video for it on their site, I have to admit that I’m actually intrigued to try it, especially in time for New Year’s Eve in order to add a bit of glam to my look. The two Instaglam products available are:

Both are priced at $12.95 but it’s the eyeliner/ mascara combo that I’m the most excited about trying as it’s a mascara on the one end and an eyeliner on the other. Although it would appear that the eyeliner part is only available in black, you have the choice of the following three colours for the mascara part: abyss (blue), black star (black) or psychelic (purple).

The only hitch with this Annabelle coupon code is that you aren’t given the option of selecting a different colour for whatever product you add. In this case, if you add the Instraglam eyeliner + mascara in black star and add the code, then another one of that same colour will automatically be added to your cart. Once the code has been applied, you can go back and forth between the check out and the rest of Annabelle’s site and the BOGO offer will automatically be applied on everything.

A couple of days ago, Makeup Magic posted an interesting review of the Annabelle twist up lipstick crayon and although I rarely wear lip stick, I have to say that it made me want to give it a try, especially for Christmas pictures. Available in 6 shades from dramatic bordeaux to trendy basics, vibrant pinks and more, the TwistUp lipstick crayon is priced at $9.95/ each. For each shade, you can also choose an even more specific colour. The dramatic bordeaux one, for instance, comes in either cherry or vamp. It’s essentially a liner and lipstick rolled into one, which is a pretty cool concept for when you don’t want to bring a whole slew of make-up for a night out.

Unlike Marcelle, shipping is at a more attainable threshold of being free if you shop for over $30.

New $25 Grab Bag Available @ Burt’s Bees Canada ($75+ Value)

New $25 Grab Bag Available @ Burts Bees Canada ($75+ Value)

Just in time for Christmas, Burt’s Bees has just released their newest grab bag: the holiday one. While supplies last, you can get their holiday grab bag for just $25. It has a value of over $75 and comes with 9 Burt’s Bees products, 8 of which are full size.

Burt’s Bees’ holiday grab bag comes with all of the following products:

  • gud Pearanormal Activity Body Wash
  • gud Pearanormal Activity Body Lotion
  • Cranberry & Pomegranate Replenishing Body Bar
  • Travel Size Milk & Honey Body Lotion
  • Starry Night Lip Gloss
  • Strawberry Lip Shimmer
  • Bit of Burt’s Pomegranate
  • Peppermint Foot Lotion

Among the contents can be found “bit of Bur’s pomegranate”. As it turns out, it actually contains two additional products: the pomegranate lip balm and the mini lemon butter cuticle cream. Keep in mind that the gud products are actually a line of organic products produced by Burt’s Bees, which contains no parabens, phtalates or petrolatum.

Every year around this time, I buy the Burt’s Bees lip balm and there isn’t a lip balm that I like more. Although I’m not fan of the pomegranate one because of the strong smell, every other one has been helping to turn my chapped lips from the cold into kissable soft ones! New $25 Grab Bag Available @ Burts Bees Canada ($75+ Value)

Speaking of which, I’m most excited about the strawberry lip shimmer included in this grab bag as it has over 15 reviews with nearly 5 stars out of 5, like this review:

Nowadays lip products are packed with harmful ingredients bad for your skin and even the environment such as petrolatum, mineral oil, parabens, propylene glycol and the list goes on. However Burt’s Bees lip shimmers finds a way to make great lip shimmers without the bad! It last long, has a cooling peppermint oil effect, beautiful color application, moisturizes and does NOT test on animals! New $25 Grab Bag Available @ Burts Bees Canada ($75+ Value)

Since shipping is only free on orders over $49 at Burt’s Bees, you could either order two of these grab bags — perhaps one for yourself and one to give — or you can shop around for more products. In the outlet section, you can save on the following 2 products right now:

If your order doesn’t reach the $49 required minimum threshold for free shipping, then a shipping rate between $7.50 and $15 will apply depending on your location.

Starbucks Canada: Free Shipping With 3+ DOT Mugs Or Tumblers

Starbucks Canada: Free Shipping With 3+ DOT Mugs Or Tumblers

Usually only free on orders over $65, you can now get free shipping at Starbucks if you buy three or more DOT drinkware products. Otherwise, a $4.95 flat shipping rate will apply.

Never heard about Starbucks’ Dot collection? It’s because it’s new! The Dot collection is actually a brand new exclusive line of mugs and tumblers designed by Starbucks artists. According to Stabucks’ promotional banner about it, it’s “here for the season and ready to gift”. It’s unclear as to whether it’s only here for the season and will be gone once the last snowflake melts but in any case, this promotion is a great way to score a couple of mugs and tumblers and get free shipping.

Earlier, I wrote about the rise in prices at Tim Hortons and mentioned that I would now be making better use of my own tumbler but it looks like Starbucks’ sale couldn’t have come at a better time. Personally, I only have one tumbler that I rinse out each time but I certainly wouldn’t mind having a couple of different ones switch between.

Upon first browsing the selection of Dot products, I spotted quite a few at $21.95 a pop but I found two for half that price. You can get the core green dot mug or the red holiday cup for $9.95 each. With Christmas right around the corner, the red one definitely stood out to me right away, especially with the hype the Starbucks’ to-go red cups generate, but it’s up to you to decide.

The great part about this promotion is that you could score some cups or tumblers to give as gifts in time for Christmas and then take advantage of the free shipping offer to grab some coffee, tea or anything else that strikes your fancy from Starbucks’ wide inventory of products.

According to certain online rumours, most of these DOT tumblers also have a matching gift card as loads of new ones have been added in-stores. However, I had a look at Starbucks’ online section for buying gift card and only counted 22 different designs to choose from. So, we’ll have to see in the upcoming week if this is just a rumour or if more cards will be added.
