WalMart Canada: Contours Lite Baby Stroller | Was $120 Now $75

Hey there, my fellow deal hunters! WalMart currently has their Contours Lite Stroller on clearance for just $75 – the regular price of this baby stroller is $119.99. If you wanted to buy this stroller on Amazon, it would cost you $159.98! It’s also on sale at Diapers.com for $95. What’s especially great about this WalMart deal is that you’ll also get free shipping with your order! That’s right – Wednesday is a great day to save!

If you’ve been seeking a reliable stroller for your child, then your search should end when you check out this Contours Lite Stroller! It’s got some great features, including a recline-able seat, a parent cup holder, a storage basket, swivelling front wheels that can help you steer easily, a child tray complete with drink holder, an adjustable 5-point harness, and a large canopy that can help you keep the sun away. You can learn more about this Contours Lite Stroller by clicking here.

If I had to purchase a stroller for my child, I would make sure that it was safe, easy to maneuver, and highly rated online. This Contours Lite Stroller thankfully has many favourable reviews online, and I’ve included a snippet of one of them from a satisfied WalMart customer below:

I first used the stroller at home. It was light and easy to manuever in the house. If I needed to, I could carry it up and down the stairs. I think Baby Savvy enjoyed it too. I gave her a bottle on more than one occasion and would rock the carraige. Before I knew it, she was asleep. This must have been a sign of comfort. When we go out for a walk, I like the protection of the oversized orange shade. It is not big and bulky so it was easy to get in and out of stores.

Since this Contours Lite Baby Stroller is on clearance, it may not be in stock for very long, so check it out while this deal is still valid. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Newegg Canada: Digital Games Sale – Save Up To 70% On Square Enix Titles

Posted by on October 22, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Newegg Canada: Digital Games Sale Save Up To 70% On Square Enix Titles

Newegg is currently having a digital games sale, which should please PC Steam users. Right now, you can save up to 70% on a deep selection of Square Enix titles, which includes familiar games like Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light ($2.99 - was $9.99), Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut ($6.99 – was $19.99), and  Sleeping Dogs ($6.99 – was $19.99). What’s great about purchasing digital games is the fact that you can play the games that you bought shortly after purchasing them! This sale is on until October 24th, so take advantage of these sales while you can.

This is one sweet sale from Newegg. From Tomb Raider to Kain & Lynch, there are plenty of familiar franchises that you can find here. Some other great games that are worth checking out here include Thief ($10.49 – was $29.99), Tomb Raider: Anniversary ($3.14 - was $8.99), and Hitman Absolution Professional Edition ($10.49 – was $29.99).

Seeing a good mix of older and new games in this sale started to make me feel a little nostalgic. I first played Tomb Raider on a demo disc for the Playstation 1. Remember how awesome those PS1 demo discs were? They would be packed with tons of playable demos, so you would be able to try out a myriad of different games before you purchased them. Anyways, when I first tried out Tomb Raider (it was Tomb Raider 2), I thought the controls were slightly clunky and unresponsive, but it was still a cool game. The newer Tomb Raider games thankfully have much better controls, and look fantastic, too!

Hitman Absolution Professional Edition usually sells for $29.99 on Amazon’s American website. Listed below is a brief review of this game from a satisfied Amazon customer:

I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars because it is a game with an interesting story line, many ways to fulfill objectives, and has plenty of replay-ability. I usually steer away from 1 player games because I like the dynamics of playing against human opponents. With this Hitman I have gone back and tried new ways of taking down enemies and used different locations to draw or distract my victims.

If you enjoy playing PC games, and you’re a fan of Square Enix, then do yourself a favour and check out this deal. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Posted by on October 22, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Best Buy Canada: Insignia 64.5 1080p 120Hz LED TV | Was $1200 Now $900 (EXPIRED)

Best Buy is having a FLASH sale for one day only on their Insignia 64.5″ 1080p 120Hz LED TV! It normally retails for $1199.99, and is now on sale for $999.99, but today’s FLASH sale allows customers to save an extra $100! Now you can purchase this huge television for $899.99 – that’s a great deal for a nearly-65-inch TV! You’ll also have to pay $49.99 for a scheduled delivery, since this is one huge product.

This Insignia 64.5″ 1080p 120Hz LED TV is huge! Not only will your movies, TV shows, and video games look amazing, but you’ll also be the envy of all your friends with this 64.5″ television! With this Insignia 64.5″ 1080p 120Hz LED TV, you can enjoy watching your Blu-Ray movies in 1080p, and in 120Hz.

I personally like the Insignia television brand. I think it’s high in quality and low in price, which is always a win with me. I currently have a 32″ Insignia LCD TV that I purchased back in 2009 (it was $525 at the time, which was a very decent price for a 32″ flatscreen TV), and it’s still working well! It also has a sleek exterior, which makes this more than just a “generic TV brand”.

If you wanted to purchase this Insignia 64.5″ 1080p 120Hz LED TV from Future Shop today, it would cost you $1199.99. I’ve included a brief review of a similar 55″ model of an Insignia LED TV from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

I purchased a 32″, 39″ & 48″ Insignia LED TVs and am very happy with all of them. The HD content shows look awesome. Connect a Sound Bar and enjoy even better sound.

This may not be in stock for very long, so if you’re looking for a decent deal on a 64.5″ LED TV, then you should check out this deal! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Amazon Canada: The Office: The Complete Series On DVD | Was $230 Now $90

Posted by on October 21, 2014 at 10:17 AM

Amazon Canada: The Office: The Complete Series On DVD | Was $230 Now $90

That’s what she said. Today’s deal at Amazon is for the complete series of The Office on DVD – normally selling for $229.99, you can now purchase this set for $89.99. You’ll also get free shipping with your order! The Office: The Complete Series on DVD is currently on sale for $139.99 at Best Buy and Future Shop.

Oh, how I loved The Office – its dry humour that gave us a glimpse into a, often-mismanaged Scranton, Pennsylvania paper company known as Dunder Mifflin was a ground-breaking show for its time. It intrigued me when I first watched it back in the mid-2000s, since I didn’t hear the obligatory laugh-track in between every joke on the show.

Remember when TV shows had to remind us when we were supposed to laugh? After watching The Office, it kind of ruined many shows with laugh-tracks for me (at least the newer ones – I will always love Seinfeld and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air).

Either way, I really enjoyed watching The Office. It was a thoroughly enjoyable series with memorable characters such as Dwight, Andy, and of course, Michael Scott (played by Steve Carrell). One of my favourite lines in the series is when Michael Scott (the manager of the Dunder Mifflin office in Scranton, PA) is trying to motivate his employees, and has the following inspirational line written down on chart paper: You miss 100% of the shots that you don’t take. -Wayne Gretzky -Michael Scott.

The last few seasons aren’t as creative or hilarious as the earlier seasons, but they’re still fun to watch. Mindy Kaling of The Mindy Project also rose to prominence during her time on The Office. I’ve included a brief review of The Office: The Complete Series on DVD from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

Ordered for myself and my wife. It’s our favourite show. Hilarious, smart, and just perfect. Steve Carell is so funny.
The display is very nice and simple. Amazing!

Get this great DVD set before it’s sold out! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Toys R Us Canada: Despicable Me 2 Minion Dancing Dave Figurine | Was $50 Now $30

Good morning, my fellow deal hunters! If you’re looking for that perfect gift for a child (or even an adult) that loves the Despicable Me movies, then keep this sale in mind. Toys R Us is currently selling their Despicable Me 2 Minion Dancing Dave Figurine for $29.87 – that’s 40% off the regular price of $49.99! You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus!

This Despicable Me 2 Minion Dancing Dave Figurine is really cute! Just look at how this large figurine dances - it’s hilarious, and can be a real hit with both children and adults.

I really enjoyed the Despicable Me movies. It’s still very popular, and I wouldn’t be surprised if another instalment of the series comes out. Steve Carrell did a great job as Gru, the criminal mastermind with a heart of gold, and kids just love this series.

There are several other Despicable Me 2 figurines that are also on sale at Toys R Us for $29.87, including Minion Tim, Minion Stewart, and Gru. These are all usually $49.99, so this is a great deal!

If you were to purchase this Despicable Me 2 Minion Dancing Dave Figurine from Amazon, it would cost you $59.99. It also sells for $40 US (plus shipping) on Newegg’s American website. Listed below is a brief review of this Despicable Me 2 Minion Dancing Dave Figurine from a satisfied Amazon customer:

This toy is very cool! Makes me very happy every time I play with it! I recommend it for every child and adult that loves Minions and Despicable Me!!

Game Access Canada: The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct For The Xbox 360 (Used) | Was $50 Now $8 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 21, 2014 at 9:30 AM

Game Access Canada: The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct For The Xbox 360 (Used) | Was $50 Now $8 (EXPIRED)

Good morning! Today’s deal at Game Access Canada is an enticing one for Walking Dead fans and Xbox 360 owners – you can now get a used copy of The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct for the Xbox 360 for just $7.72 (plus $3 shipping). You can’t go wrong for that price, especially when the game normally retails for $49.99!

If you’ve ever wanted to dive into a virtual Walking Dead world, then this is your chance. The publisher behind The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is Activision, who is behind the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games for the PS1 and N64 (remember how awesome they were before they released like 20 versions of the game, people). Activision has actually been around since the Atari 2600 was released, and is also known for their runaway hit, Pitfall!

This would be a great gift for Walking Dead fans. Even if the game may not be the best in the world, it’s always fun for fans to enjoy a video game based on movies or TV shows that they enjoy (unless it’s Beetlejuice for the original Nintendo… that game was just brutally hard). With a plot involving zombies, what could be more fun?

If you were to purchase The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct for the Xbox 360 at Amazon, it would cost you $28.19. I’ve included a snippet of a review of this Walking Dead game that was posted on Metacritic below:

The first person combat is fun, the storytelling is decent at best and the game has a somewhat unique art style to it. Visually it isn’t really all that impressive but it captures the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic, zombie ridden world quite well and, well it has that ”Walking Dead” feel overall. All in all it’s a great package.

If you love The Walking Dead, then you should consider checking out this game. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Today’s deal should be an enticing one for those that have children who love Play-Doh! For a limited time, when you purchase Play-Doh that’s $14.99 and under at Toys R Us, you’ll get 50% off each item! You can save on some great sets, like the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Disney Mouskatools Set ($7.47 – was $14.99), Sweet Shoppe Candy Jar Set ($7.47 – was $14.99), and even a Play-Doh Classic Colours 4-Pack ($2.47 – was $4.99). The most that you’ll be paying for each of these Play-Doh items (since the discount is already applied for the eligible products) is $7.47, so these would be great stocking stuffers for Christmas!

As a child, I loved Play-Doh. I eventually started to use plaster-cine when I was 8, but I really had a fun time making characters out of Play-Doh. I think it’s one of the most creative products for children that are out there, since it allows them to use their imagination and create something from scratch. I know it allowed me to explore my artistic side as a child, and I will definitely buy plenty of Play-Doh for my children when that day comes (I’m in no rush at the moment).

To show you how much of a great deal this is, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Disney Mouskatools Set normally sells for $12.94 at WalMart (currently out of stock), and it’s $11.99 US on Amazon’s American website. Listed below is a brief review of this Play-Doh set from a satisfied Amazon customer:

My two-year-old twin boys are huge fans of Mickey Mouse Club House, so I had to get this play-doh toy. I was pleasantly surprised at how toddler friendly the accessories are. My boys were able to use all of them with ease. Plus they love that it’s their favorite character, Mickey.

This deal won’t be around for very long, so take advantage of these savings on Play-Doh products while you still can! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day, my fellow bargain hunters!

Future Shop Canada: Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow 2 Pack | Was $100 Now $30 (EXPIRED)

Oh hey there, Bargainmoosers! If you’re looking for a way to get more comfort during your designated sleep time (also known as “whenever you finally get home from work”), then this deal at Future Shop might pique your interest. For a limited time, you can purchase a Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) for just $29.99! These memory foam pillows normally cost $99.99, so you’re saving $70 with this deal! You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus!

This Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) is great for those that have some issues with their current pillows. Without the proper support for your neck and head, it can lead to you waking up sore and stiff, which can be tough to deal with. Thankfully, this Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) can help you get the rest that you deserve, since the memory foam technology can conform to the natural shape of your head and neck.

I originally got a memory foam pillow about 11 years ago, and I used that same pillow for 9 years! It’s currently on my old bed at my parent’s house right now, but I really loved that pillow (and trust me, it was much more expensive than today’s deal is). It provided me with the comfort I needed, and I no longer had to rely on using 2 pillows to rest comfortably.

If you were to purchase this Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) at WalMart, it would cost you $59, and it’s currently on sale at Best Buy for $36.99 (it’s on sale today only). I’ve included a brief review of some similar memory foam pillows from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

These pillows are incredible! They conform to the curve of the neck and are very comfortable to sleep on. They haven’t gotten flat like regular pillows which I like about it.

This deal will expire before midnight tonight. I hope you’re all enjoying your day, Bargainmoosers!

Even if you don’t usually get Halloween decorations, you should at least consider getting a Colossal Carving Kit - after all, it’s incredibly fun to carve a pumpkin!

I think it’s fun to carve pumpkins, especially when you can print off a trace sheet online to help you make a wonderful Jack-O-Lantern! My challenge this year will be to carve Hulk Hogan’s Fu Manchu moustache on to a pumpkin – wish me luck!

These are some great prices for these items! For example, the Iron Man Candy Holder that’s currently selling for $14.50 at WalMart is $32.50 at Entertainment Earth! I’ve included a brief review of the Airblown Inflatable Rainbow Wings from a satisfied WalMart customer below:

Bought this for my niece and she loves it!! All you need is a dress(in my niece’s case, a second hand prom dress) and add those wings – VOILA! A beautiful fairy!

Remember that you have to purchase at least 3 of these PS4 games to qualify for this deal – if you did, you’ll see the amount that you’re saving in your shopping cart.

I don’t have a PS4 system yet, but it looks like there’s plenty of great games that are currently out. From classic sports titles like FIFA 2015 to the latest popular titles like Destiny, the PS4 is definitely picking up some steam!

If you were to purchase these titles anywhere else, you’d be paying the regular retail prices that Best Buy usually charges – for example, Destiny was just released about a month ago, and it’s more than $69 everywhere (it’s $69.99 at Future Shop, and $69.96 at WalMart). I’ve listed a brief review of Destiny for the PS4 from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

Since I received my copy of Destiny for PS4 I have not been able to stop playing it. It puts Titanfall to shame!

This deal may not last for long, so check it out while it’s still valid! Happy gaming, my fellow Bargainmoosers!

When I went on a canoe trip a few months ago, it was the first time that I saw one of these action cameras. I’ve heard of them, but I never saw one in-person until the day of that canoe trip, when one of my friends decided to bring one with him. He had it strapped on to his head, and he used it to record his adventure down the rapids. This Sakar Vivitar 5 Mp Pro Waterproof Action Camcorder would be a great gift for those that love to be active!

If you were to purchase this Sakar Vivitar 5 Mp Pro Waterproof Action Camcorder at Tiger Direct, it would cost you $61.99 plus shipping. I’ve included a snippet of a review of this action camera from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

For the money the best deal going! I mounted it to my Motocycle helmet (mount included) and got movie quality riding video through the badlands, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower etc… also I went on vacation in Cabo and got killer under water video of the local fish and coral reefs!
