Budget Coupon Numbers For The Next Few Months

I’ve just found a LOAD of car rental coupon codes which you can use if you plan to rent a car with Budget.ca.

Here are a few of the highlights:

    • Discount: Up to 35% off weekend and weekly rentals
    • Coupon Code: H029700
    • Expires: 8th July 2012
    • Discount: Midsize car for $19 per weekend day or $149 per week
    • Coupon Code: H033500
    • Expires: 9th June 2012
    • Discount: $20 off a 4 day weekend rental
    • Coupon Code: MCNZ063
    • Expires: 15th June 2012

There are some pretty specific terms and conditions for using these coupon codes, such as the class or car, the duration of the rental, or the time period. If you click the link on each coupon, it will take you to the page with all the terms and conditions.

I am not listing all of the coupon codes here, because you can find these and more Budget coupon numbers on the coupon forum on Bargainmoose. Budget Coupon Numbers For The Next Few Months Always check there for a coupon code before you make any online purchase! And if you find another super coupon code, be sure to share it with your fellow moosers.

Sometimes it’s very handy to rent a car rather than relying on public transport. Last year, we had a family holiday, a Mediterranean cruise! We also spent a week in Mallorca, a small island there. When on the island, we rented a car for the time, and it was really cheap to do so. But having the car gave us total freedom of the island. We were able to roam through the beautiful countryside, make our way through small ancient cobbled villages, drive through mountains and visit faraway beaches. Totally superb. Microsoft Lifecam Webcam Only $12.99 & Free Shipping @ NCIX Canada

Posted by Anna Waters on April 22, 2012 at 4:00 PM

Microsoft Lifecam Webcam Only $12.99 & Free Shipping @ NCIX Canada

On NCIX Canada, you buy the Microsoft Lifecam for only $12.99, with free shipping!

This is one of the surprise specials from NCIX, and there is only 1 per customer. It is the Microsoft Lifecam Show 2.0MP Ultra Thin Autofocus Webcam W/ Noise Cancellation. Regular price is $52.99!

What’s really great about this deal is that it also comes with free express shipping from NCIX! Usually, the shipping fees on NCIX kill some of the deals on the smaller gadgets and electronics, so seeing free shipping on this was a real bonus.

It’s got a pretty basic specification, as you might expect for such a cheap item. But if you are just needing a very basic webcam that doesn’t break the bank, this could be just the ticket.

A couple of months ago., we bought a very basic webcam for my mom-in-law to be, to put on her old desktop computer. We didn’t want to be spending much on it as it’s only used about once a week, and we got her a webcam very similar to this one.

    P.S. A 3 year warranty is a definite benefit.

    Dell Venue Pro 3G Unlocked Smartphone Was $400 now $230 @ Newegg.ca

Posted by Anna Waters on April 22, 2012 at 12:00 PM

    Dell Venue Pro 3G Unlocked Smartphone Was $400 now $230 @ Newegg.ca

The folks over at Newegg.ca have a special deal on the Dell Venue Pro 3G Unlocked cell phone right now – the regular price is $399.99, they’re discounting it by $170 down to $229.99, and that’s with free shipping.

As this cell phone is unlocked, it should work with whatever plan or sim card you’re using right now. Here’s a note on the compatible carriers and services:

    AT&T, T-Mobile, T-Mobile 3G, Simple Mobile, Simple Mobile 3G, Rogers, Fido

The internal memory on this phone is 8GB which isn’t huge, but you can add an SD card of 32GB for more storage, which is handy.

I was having trouble price comparing as this phone isn’t sold online at many Canadian stores, but I found the 16GB model for $655 at Expansys – quite a difference!

I did a google search for reviews of the Dell Venue Pro 3G, and found quite a lot of articles to read, so you can do a bit of research yourself if you’re going to take the plunge and buy this cell phone. The review on ZDnet even goes so far as to say that this phone is the best Windows Phone 7 device that is available right now.

Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard For $65 @ Staples.ca

Posted by Anna Waters on April 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM

Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard For $65 @ Staples.ca

Staples.ca has a hot deal on the Logitech Wireless Illuminated K800 Keyboard right now – down from $100 to $65, a saving of $35.

As the Logitech keyboard is more than $50, you’ll get free shipping too.

If we do a quick price comparison: $100 at FS, $80 at BB, $100 at Logitech, $80 at Amazon, $110 at TD, $120 at NCIX. So this leads me to believe that the Staples price is pretty damn hot!

I am quite tempted to get this one, as I currently do not have a backup keyboard to use if this one breaks…. but I am not the biggest fan of Logitech keyboards. In my home office, we’ve got 2 keyboard camps – the Logitech camp contains my other half, and I’m in the Microsoft keyboard camp. Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard For $65 @ Staples.ca I really do find Microsoft keyboards more comfortable to use, but my partner feels the exact opposite.

What brand do you prefer for keyboards?

Canon Powershot A800 10MP Digital Camera For $49 With Amazon.ca Coupon Code

Posted by Anna Waters on April 22, 2012 at 9:00 AM

Canon Powershot A800 10MP Digital Camera For $49 With Amazon.ca Coupon Code

I got an email from Amazon this morning, about their deal of the week in the electronics section – it’s a red Canon Powershot A800 10 MP Digital Camera with 3.3x Optical Zoom, and it’s down to $49 when you use the Amazon coupon code below. Free shipping too!

Click here to buy the Canon camera @ Amazon.ca now

    • Coupon Code: RDCAMERA
    • Discount: $10 off Canon A800
    • Expires: 28th April 2012

Some quick details about this camera:

    • 10 megapixels and 3.3x Optical Zoom
    • Scene Modes: Super Vivid, Poster Effect, Blur Reduction
    • AA Battery-powered camera for on the go!

Let’s price compare to see how good this deal is. I am showing you different colours of the A800, but it just shows you the price range – $103 at NCIX, $60 at TigerDirect, $80 at Newegg, $108 at Walmart, $80 at Dell. It’s sold at quite a lot of stores, but Amazon is the best price by far.

I really like the fact that this digital camera takes AA batteries – that means it’s super-easy for you to carry spares for battery emergencies. My Nikon digital camera has a proprietary battery that can only be charged with the supplied adapter, making it difficult when the battery runs out (plus it’s expensive to buy a second battery).

To be honest, this Canon A800 Powershot digital camera could make a good gift for a child or teenager. You can get little digital cameras designed for kids but they aren’t as god quality as this, so for $50 you’re getting a really nice little gift. And come to think of it, it’s Mother’s Day soon. If your mom doesn’t yet use a digital camera, this could be a good starting point for her.

Bose On-Ear Headphones Were $119 Now $79.99 @ Future Shop Canada

Posted by Anna Waters on April 21, 2012 at 8:00 PM

Bose On Ear Headphones Were $119 Now $79.99 @ Future Shop Canada

Over at Future Shop Canada’s online store, there’s a sweet deal on some Bose On-Ear Headphones. They were originally priced at $119 and are now down to $79.99. It’s their web headphones deal of the week.

If you’re ordering these online, you would get free shipping to your home.

A quick blurb for your reference:

Acclaimed Bose technology ensures you enjoy rich, lifelike sound for everything you want to hear, while the fold-flat earcups and collapsible headband offer increased portability and easy storage.

Let’s price compare: On the Bose website, these headphones are priced at $159.99. Same from Best Buy, or $130 at MemoryExpress.

While some of you may be thinking that $80 is quite a lot to pay for a set of headphones, I think you pay for what you get. If you’re someone who listens to music through your headphones all the time, then you definitely want a comfortable and good quality set, and paying a little bit extra can make all the difference.

For example, a friend of mine works in a busy office, which is quite noisy throughout the day. He spends the whole day lost in the ambience and comfort of the music in his head, through a set of great quality, on-ear headphones.

    Travelocity.ca Green Travel Deals

The folks over at Travelocity.ca are commemorating Earth Day (22nd April) by doing some special offers on eco-friendly hotels. They say that there is up to 40% off in this promotion.

So, if you are planning a break and you like the thought that your hotel is eco-friendly, have a browse through their vacation offerings.

You can narrow down the selection to Canada only, or change it to the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Mexico, or US cities. Also, you can see the prices for hotel only, or you can include a flight too, to see the final price.

Speaking of exotic vacation destinations, I am hoping to get married next year, so I need to decide on a location to visit for the honeymoon. I’ve never been to Mexico and it’s always a place I’ve wanted to visit. I don’t think it would be great with a two-year old daughter in tow though, so I was hoping to farm her out to relatives for a week. I hope it’s possible! Mexico calls…

There’s a cute little video on their page about the eco-bunnies! It’s all about zeroing out your carbon footprint by off-setting the cost, donating to organisations that can do so. Good idea! It’s on the bottom left of the above page, if you want to see it.

Toys R Us Canada BIG Bike Sale! Up To 25%…

Posted by Anna Waters on April 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM

Toys R Us Canada BIG Bike Sale! Up To 25%...

As the summer weather creeps closer and closer, we’re all finding a bit more time to spend outdoors. And if you’ve got kids, bikes are always pretty high on the list of ways to keep the kids entertained while they’re out there. This week at Toys R Us Canada, they’re having a BIG bike sale, offering up to 25% off bikes, trikes and scooters.

The kids helmets are also on offer, if you’re needing one of those. How cute is this pink Raskullz Giddi Yup Helmet – it’s $24.97, down from $29.99.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve seen a few people pushing round their toddlers in this type of thing – the Little Tikes 3-in-1 Trike which is down from $99.99 to $79.97. I think they’re a pretty great idea. My little girl is almost two years old, and it’s sometimes pretty hard to control her when we’re out and about. We’ve got a few options… slings, pushchairs, reins… but she’s never happy! I get jealous when I see kids being pushed around contentedly, in a trike like that one by Little Tikes.

But when she gets a little older, I plan on getting something like this Disney Princess Bike, it’s $59.97 down from $79.99 just now. I never had anything like that and was always pretty jealous of girls who had one. I have a feeling that y daughter will be getting one of those bikes in the near future!

Remember that if you’re ordering online from Toys R Us Canada, you have to spend $100 to get free shipping.

Sears Days Continue: Now With Up To 50% Off & Free Shipping

Last week, I posted here about the start of Sears Days, where they were advertising up to 45% off in select categories. Now this week, they’ve updated the promo to “up to” 50% off, plus free shipping on a $100 spend!

    Free shipping terms and conditions:

Sears Canada is offering free shipping on products less than 65 lbs. on sears.ca and catalogue orders when you spend $100 or more.

I think within the terms of this sale, it would be fairly easy to spend $100 in order to qualify for the free shipping.

The sale seems to involve the same shopping categories, women’s apparel, footwear, appliances and more. Mattresses are on sale too, with prices starting at $80.

Glancing through the women’s sale section, there are a few items that are highly discounted and look pretty good too. Here are some examples:

Now, over to some ideas for the guys in the footwear department:

There are of course, lots more items on sale, have a browse and see what you can see. Sears Days Continue: Now With Up To 50% Off & Free Shipping

Lancome Mother’s Day Gift Ideas, Free Gifts, Free Shipping, Etc.

Posted by Anna Waters on April 19, 2012 at 4:00 PM

Lancome Mothers Day Gift Ideas, Free Gifts, Free Shipping, Etc.

With Mother’s Day coming up soon, it’s time to starting looking out for bargain gifts. There are some good Mother’s Day gift ideas on Lancome.ca, and if you couple that with some of their special promotions, you can grab yourself a good deal.

On the page I linked to above, they’ve got some fragrance gift sets, which have lovely presentation. They’d make super gifts.

First of all, don’t forget to use the Lancome coupon code ESSENTIALS if you spend more than $50, which Krista detailed in this previous post. It will get you a 5 piece deluxe Lancome gift, totally free.

Secondly, you should possibly aim to spend $85 to get free shipping. If you weren’t planning on spending that much on mom alone, you could browse round the site and see if there are a few things you’d like to throw in your cart for yourself. My mascara is running low, so I am tempted for one of these spring mascara gift sets for $34.

I always find it terribly difficult to buy for my mom. On Mother’s Day and her birthday, I really have to rack my brain to think of a new idea. Last year, I got her a blueberry gardening gift set consisting of some blueberry plants to put in her garden, and also a couple of jars of jam. She loved it, she’d never had a gift like it before.
