I can’t afford big gifts this year, so instead I’ve offered my services to a couple of my friends getting hitched this summer. Two weeks ago, a good friend & I split the bartending between us. Not only did we save the newlyweds 12+ hours of catering service, but we donated all of our tips (minus $15 each for a cab home) to their F&B fund. The bride & groom were thrilled, & I had a blast getting to serve my friends, instead of strangers, for once!

I’ve only got two this summer and luckily they are both local, but just the cost of wedding gifts sure isn’t cheap. Thank goodness I can split the cost with my date

Doing your own nails is definitely another way to save money, but sometimes it’s fun it get it professionally done, especially if you can snag a deal for a mani/pedi for $25!

I’ve got FOUR weddings this year. One down, three to go. For the next 3, I’ve got to stay in the hotel venue of the wedding, so it’s quite costly!
