Thank you for sharing these apps! I have the shopping one. I do like it BUT I didn’t like how I can’t make categories. so I tried another one called grocery IQ, but i don’t love that one either. I like the shopping one better if only it would let me add my own categories.

Please continue to share favorite apps on your blog, especially free or cheap ones. I’m going to check the calendar one out.

Ditto the comment on Paprika.. I have tried a couple and settled on Paprika for all my recipe storage needs.

Hi Leslie- Wow- just had a look at it and it looks brilliant! I like how you can lock the screen and prevent it from turning off during cooking. It’s a huge pet peeve of mine to have to unlock my iphone with my passcode to view the recipe 25x when I make something. I will never lose a recipe again!

Although its $4.99 it looks like it’s definitely worth the splurge.

I wouldn’t be without Paprika Recipe Manager. It’s brilliant. It has a built in browser that let’s you find and load recipes off the Internet and it generates your grocery list based on meals you’ve selected for the week, sorted by aisle and consolidated (I.e. three recipes that call for one onion will be listed under Produce as 3 onions.
